Enigma Haunted House

This haunted house was WAY OVERPRICED. First the maze which was supposed to be 100% dark was not that at all. They told us to not use our phones or any light but the group in front of us used their phone flashlight the entire time. Ruined the entire attraction. Also, the first attraction has no actors or terrors. Just blowing horns and alarms. Once we finished the maze we moved to the 2^nd attraction. The worker that was working this attraction (allowing people in, group by group) could not have been more unprofessional. He was terrible and rude.
The 2^nd attraction was much better, but the smell was terrible and it had a lot to make up for the terrible «abyss». If you are paying for just one attraction make sure it’s not «The Abyss». For about $ 15 this would of been worth it but that was not the case.
My wife and I are from Northeast Ohio and the haunted houses back home are much better/​scarier. I guess our expectations were much too high. ENTER THE ENIGMA HAUNT AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Let me open by saying I’m well versed on haunted houses (horror genre in general lol). I’ve been to Orlando’s/Universal Studio’s Halloween Horror Nights, Busch Gardens (Tampa) Howl-​O-​Scream, and even traveled to freakin’ Philadelphia to what is considered the countries best haunted houses (takes place in massive historical creepy buildings, epic). I’ve also been to some pretty bad local haunted houses. I’m picky ;)
I went to Enigma Haunt last week after checking reviews, and asking some friends. Holy wow I was so thrilled with it! Drove 45 min. to get there (worth it!!). There are 2 houses, do both. I will say that their website trailer doesn’t do it justice, because there are SO MANY elements they combine that go far beyond just typical slasher-​gory style horror. The house inside is top-​notch, you go through different rooms that incorporate more horror genres than I’ve ever seen in 1 house. They go above and beyond in the props and build-​outs in these rooms, the attention to detail is nuts. It was not just thrown together, it was painstakingly done with a real vision. I felt like a true artist with a high standard created this.
I don’t want to spoil it for you, but this is an example of the variety; an ancient Egyptian room with a larger than life warrior guy, was amazingly done. A voodoo– snake-​woman priestess room (costume/​make up/​acting was top-​notch), twisted doctors, evil circus, and more. There was not one weak link in any of it, and all of the actors (felt like actual actors not volunteer kids who are half-​assing it) made it all so great. I didn’t time it but it was long and there was plenty to see. The maze IS fun and different, it’s a maze in almost pitch black and IS just fun and some creep factor. It’s a nice contrast to the other house and pre-​cursor for it, gets you in a fun mood :)
THIS is the HAUNTED HOUSE TO CHOOSE if you’re trying to decide-​GO TO IT! Seriously, if you don’t appreciate the level of quality of this house, than you are dead inside… and not in the cool zombie-​like way. Have FUN!

They donated $ 2 for each ticket to an animal shelter, plus they donate to wounded warriors… which was kick ass. Gotta give them even more props for the charity aspects.

My girlfriend and I screamed our butts off. Really great scary fun! The actors were great and so believable. I would definitely recommend it! The props were on point. Even the different smells were legit. I wanna to go back next year!

You have to wait but I was fine with it! They project random videos on the outside of the maze part and characters come out and it’s fun! The 2^nd haunted house is definitely the best– such talented actors. Would go again!

Such a great haunted house!!! I only did The Realms but it was a nice lengthy house with great animation, and entertainment!

I went opening night with my friend bumin… we used to hit all the haunted attractions in the late 80’s and early 90;s so when Enigma opened I said we HAVE to hit this one! Located in Boca raton where the bowling alley is off military trail is the perfect location and space for such a massive haunted attraction. We entered and there was an old woman yelling to go back who handed me a silver beaded skull and cross bone necklace (the the ones they have at mardi gras) I slipped it around my neck and wandered on. Thats when the clown in the top hat who seemed like the greeter and local haunt followed us all over through each room. BEWARE there are sections that if you are claustrophobic you are gonna flip out as you squeeze through the plastic thats inflated around you… I had my friend hold it open as he went before me so I wouldnt feel like i was suffocating… There are so many different rooms and scenes that you will surely be scared out of your wits. This is one of the best maintained and run family owned and operated attraction for halloween in my opinion for Boca Raton. I wouldnt miss it and wwait for it. this was my 3^rd year attending and I love it more each year. We did use a groupon that was available which was really a bonus. I will be back next year for sure!

This place was amazing. After having read the reviews and hearing it from my friends and co-​workers and being a halloween and horror enthusiast, i had to take the family out and experience it for myself. I have to say… WOW!!! The actors and the sets were really good!!! They pull out all the tricks and even use scents to totally immerse you in the experience. You gotta go and see it for yourself. They were on point! After me, the wife and 2 teenagers caught our breath outside from jumping and screaming, I over heard others just raving about it. The feeling was mutual!!! You can tell that this staff has poured their heart and soul in their efforts to finally give south florida a quality haunted house. I’ve been to others around the country and believe me when i say it… This is second to none. GO CHECK IT OUT!

Not worth $ 30. First haunted house was nothing but a pitch black maze. Not scary just annoying. Second house was OK. Shoop write more funny than scary. Only scary part, which I thought, was the clowns. Save your money.

Not worth it. My girlfriend bought 2 tickets (insanity package) because she heard from a friend, who heard it from another friend and that friend heard from another friend that this the place to check out instead of traveling to Orlando.
SAVE YOUR MONEY! Waited for about an hour just to go into this maze that was 5% visibility and this was mainly used to kill time; it was more of an annoyance than anything else.
The upstairs is a tad bit better. There’s these inflatable walls you go through that look like vaginas. At one point, the area smelled like shit but I realized I just farted and it wasn’t that scary whatsoever.
Do you remember Amazon Prime Day? Very similar to that type of disappointment.

My wife and I had the BEST time last night at Enigma Haunt!!! I would like to thank all the amazing actors, make-​up artists & set designers for giving us an amazing experience.
It took us over an hour to go through both houses. The entire time was filled with screams and fear. This really has to be the best haunted house I have ever experienced. Well worth the reasonable price of admission, especially if you compare the cost of Halloween Horror Nights.
I am in my early 50’s yet I felt like a kid again in high school. It was GREAT!!!

Halloween horror nights: you pay 80 – 100 $ you wait in line for 2 hours, unless you pay an extra 100+ for fast pass, and the house takes literally 5 minutes to walk through. Actors are mediocre, it’s a conga line, and you don’t get scared, or entertained. The sets are indeed really cool and really the only reason why I ever cared to go…
But enigma haunt: wait is not terrible, I imagine it can get long, but wait… it took us probably 1 HOUR to get through both floors. 60 minutes compared to 5… The actors were remarkably good, and in your face at times. (no they don’t touch you). Detail was great, many people in south florida don’t get to experience attractions like this one. It is worth every penny. plus after there is a full billiards bar open till 5am right next door, (if you don’t mind cigarette smoke.) or bowling on the other side.

This is by far the scariest most intense haunted attraction I’ve been in ever! It’s worth at least $ 50 a person! It was so much better than Halloween Horror Nights! Absolutely insane! I cant wait for next year!

Can’t afford to drive to Orlando for Horror Nights but still want the crap scared out of you? This is your place!
My friend and I paid $ 25 for both houses. (FYI a portion goes toward the Wounded Warrior Project… awesome.) The first house was on the ground floor and was a haunted maze you had to find your way out of… in the dark. The pitch black, dark. There was only a flash of a strobe light from time to time and your hands gliding against the walls to help you out. It took us about 15 minutes and we had some good scares during that time but it wasn’t anything spectacular.
When we proceeded to the next floor our bloody, mental patient guided us upstairs to the main attraction. All of the actors stayed true to their characters and were very creepy. All of the décor was amazing. I can’t believe they turned an old gym into such a spooky place. Kudos to the staff here! We will be back next year!
