Pizza Chef Italian Bistro is a nice little Italian restaurant that I discovered. They have excellent prices from $ 9.99 Spaghetti and meatballs to $ 7.95 for a large bowl of Mussels. They have beautiful Pizza and Subs, as well as Calzone, Stromboli, Salads and Wings, everything you want in a little Italian spot. Pizza Chef has delicious garlic bread to go with all of this wonderful food. Beer is only $ 3.50.They also have great prices on wine. It’s a great little Bistro!

I read the great reviews on Unilocal and decided to try this place. Clyde, my cousin, and I went on a Saturday evening. I called ahead and made a reservation for three. When we got there all the tables were filled but after few minutes we were escorted to a table. The restaurant is fairly small, plain, and appeared to be clean. It’s what I think of as a neighborhood Italian restaurant. When we ordered drinks I asked about the wine and our server recommended the sangria. I like fruity wines so I ordered half a carafe. The half carafe was large and easily served three or more glasses. Even though I like sweet wines I found the sangria to be a little sweeter then I liked. I added some ice to my glass and that helped. Clyde liked the sangria and didn’t think it was too sweet. For my entrée I ordered the chicken Marsala which came with soup or salad, pasta, and two garlic rolls. I ordered the soup which was a cup of pasta fagioli. The cup of soup was small but the soup was hearty and delicious. The chicken Marsala was a large piece of chicken with mushrooms in Marsala wine sauce. The pasta was thin, I think it was angel hair. It was covered with the same Marsala sauce. The flavor was good but I would have preferred chicken with less breading and a lighter sauce. The pasta was cooked longer then I like. I should have asked for al dente. The garlic bread was perfect. It was crusty with a delicious garlic taste, without being greasy. Clyde had spaghetti and meatballs. He seemed to enjoy his food. I tried his spaghetti and I thought the spaghetti was cooked too long. Again, I like pasta to be firm when I bite it, but that’s my personal taste. My cousin ordered a salad and mussels marinara. He ate every bite of his food and even sopped up the marinara sauce with his garlic bread. I know he’ll want to go back. Several people eating at the restaurant had ordered the Argentine pan pizza. The pizzas looked delicious. I’ve never had Argentine pizza and I’d like to try it. The service was very good. Our server checked on us throughout our meal. She was friendly and helpful. I would like to have given three and a half stars. I decided on four stars because the food was tasty and the service was good. The prices were very reasonable which was another plus. My chicken Marsala with soup was $ 12.95. Clyde’s spaghetti with a large meatball and soup was $ 9.95.

Had the best Neapolitan Pizza in my life there, empanadas are wonderful too. Place is small, very simple and could use some renovation, but food is great.

I recently moved to Boca from NJ and was looking for a good pizzería and boy did i find a gem! I have not had anything from this place that isn’t just good. It’s great! I have ordered fettuccine Alfredo, penne a la vodka, chicken francese, chicken parm. All of these dinners were absolutely delicious. Looking forward to trying more entrees off of their menu. :)

The pizza was OK. It was kind of bland. We ordered it with sausage and pepperoni and they were kind of cheap on the sausage. I was disappointed because the reviews were so good but the pizza lacked flavor

I must say my family and I are very impressed with this restaurant. I’d give it 6 stars for a little hole in the wall. We had… empanadas…excellent. chicken parmagiana… exceptionally tasty calamari…yummy good. pizza…fabulous. calzone…original and also yummy. For dessert we had zepoli’s. Oh was that incredible. They added chocolate sauce and when we were done… we ordered seconds! Lisa, the waitress is fabulous, very friendly. She told us they make everything there. Then, the chef Raoul came out and mixed it up with everyone. Such a nice man. He’s from Spain and has been cooking all of his life. Lastly I had some leftovers for lunch and it was delicious! Well be regulars there. to heck with my diet. I’m in need of a zepoli fix.

1st Star — Staff: You will not find a more attentive, friendly, welcoming staff than at Pizza Chef. They know everyone that comes into their restaurant. They are not over-powering or invasive, but again — welcoming and friendly. They’re also family owned and that’s something you don’t see much of anymore. 2nd Star — Sangria: Their sangria is amazing. It is fruity, delicious, and flavorful. I come back time and time again for this delicious beverage. It is perfect for every dinner option. 3rd Star — Meatballs: Undeniably the best meatballs I’ve ever had from a restaurant. They’re large, flavorful, moist and delicious. The marinara sauce they’re served in is fantastic. Definitely a must try! 4th Star — Pizza: The pizza is cooked exceptionally. The crust is light and airy. They offer a ton of pies with different toppings. The toppings are always fresh and delicious. If you love olives, request the olive paste on your next pizza. You will not be disappointed. 5th Star — Location: Hidden in a small shopping plaza off of 441, you are able to always find close and accessible parking. We have always been able to find a table. We have also catered food from Pizza Chef and it has been exceptional every single time!

Luv going to the restaurant. Our weekly spot. The empanadas, meatball and eggplant sliders are scrumptious. Luv the Argentinian pizzas and especially the real friendly atmosphere with our favorite waitress Lisa and best cook George.

Our second visit. Absolutely love. Not sure which is better, the hospitality or the food. We tried the Argentinian pizza which was outrageous. Perfect crust, light and crispy and with the toppings suggested by the owner — meatball, mushroom and spinach. Omg. Can’t wait for our next slice. We were even given an empanada to try and now we’ve decided to order a dozen for the big game this Sunday!

Pleasantly surprised! We we’re invited by family friends and at first we were hesitant due to the location. But as they say«don’t judge a book by its cover». By far some of the greatest tasting empanadas I’ve had in South Florida. Mind you, my family is Cuban and Argentinian, so I consider myself well versed in a good tasting empanada. The Argentinian pizza was exquisite. We ordered a few to get a good variety and as they came out we devoured them, accordingly. Also, Lisa was amazing. We came in with a party of 8 and she didn’t lose a beat. I highly recommend this place. No, I demand you to visit. :-)

Such a nice find in a myriad of ways. First and foremost, your are greeted by the nicest, friendliest people you could ever meet! Lisa, is usually the first your eyes set on who is smiling no matter what chaos might be happening at the moment. She appears to be the«hub» to me as in managing what everyone is doing to making sure where customers are seated to where everything is going, ringing up orders, etc. ALL this with a cheerful smile! This place is small; however, clean and tidy, well-lit and the smells. .OH, but the SMELLS in THAT kitchen!(Would that, could that be in my own on a daily basis… if only)!!! George is the pizza King. Watching him make pizzas and their specialty, ARGENTINEAN pizzas can make one feel overwhelmed and dizzy, but George does it with such pride and finesse. AND it shows! The food is prepared perfectly, has flavor,(WHAT’s in that sauce?) and just tastes delicious! You can tell a lot of love and toil goes into this restaurant. I first discovered this restaurant by a review from another Unilocaler which has now led me to one, if NOT the best Italian places in the Sandalfoot area. While there may be other pizza establishments in my area that are literally closer to me, this one is worth the treck to me for an amazing(not to mention, reasonable) meal! Recommend you call ahead to see how busy if you have 3 or more in your party, especially larger group to eat dinner IN so there won’t be much of a wait and can be seated properly by the lovely Lisa. Let’s also not forget the sweet young lady, Jasmine as well. Enjoy…I’m SURE you WILL! But PLEASE! TAKE my word on it! It’s a «nice find»!

Local pizza joint in a bad strip mall. Amazingly nice staff, I just found the pizza to be just ok. I went with Italians and they didn’t seem super impressed(yes, I know Pizza is really American). Anyway, maybe I need to try again as the reviews seem to say otherwise. We’ll see.

Great Pizza! Went at lunch time got 2 slices of pepperoni and a drink plus a sausage parm sub for $ 15. Food was great and far above thick and thin across the street. Sausage was sweet with a little heat that builds towards the end. I would definitely try them again! Thanks!
