Great pizza, good service and reasonable prices make for a nice night out at this little Italian restaurant in Boca Raton.

Great pizza! Great salads! great place to go when you don’t wish to hassle the overpriced, over crowded restaurants in town, especially in season. We live here all year round and make Renzo’s our«go to place» at least once a week. The staff is friendly, the service great and as mentioned the pizza is NY style, and quite possibly the best in town. With the parking lot next door now converted to a company of sorts, Renzo’s offers valet parking which is fine although somewhat slower than retrieving your own car. Deal with it, it’s worth it!

We are longtime customers of Renzo’s. We drove into the parking lot and were approached by a valet who was extremely rude and unkempt. We called the restaurant and were told that it was valet parking only. We stated that we did not want to valet and we again spoken to so badly. I understand the restaurant was sold. I will never visit this establishment again — another Boca business with attitude.

We have been going here for years. It’s good… but… there’s always something… You could be in a group, order chicken ceasar salad and be the last one to get food. Anyway, today we went after not going for a while. and the whole back outdoor area is inclosed now. Which is nice.(Bathroom needs some work …) So i got my favorite: rigatoni broccoli Raab. I like this alot but most people wouldn’t. Rigatoni was very al dente. I mean VERY. Grandma pizza was good but 14 dollars: A small round pizza was 12. A Stromboli was even less, so I don’t get the pricing. There was a piano player who sang who was ok, but acoustics were not great. So as a result of. talking loud I’m on a throat lozenge now. So thus is renzos and always will be. At least Mrs renzo gave up her table so customers can sit down. We miss the accordion player :*(

We come here on Thursday nights for the karaōke in the Italian food it’s incredible. I’ll tell you that we get first class service and moderate prices and excellent excellent singing there’s an area to dance and we just have a whole lot of fun. There is a TV that works and I always have a sports game on. The owner bends over backwards for you. I’ve been coming here for a long time. I’ll keep coming back

Renzo’s is an excellent little Italian Restaurant just over the Boca Raton border on Federal Hwy. With a good following and longtime patrons, Renzo’s is my place to go for pizza and salad. With his recent dining room addition in the rear of the building, this new environment adds a white tablecloth touch and great ambiance. We recently dined in this new room on a Saturday night and I must say the musician/piano player was too loud and intrusive and people at our table had trouble hearing each other. The acoustics in this area are not great and seem more conducive to a quieter, background and low key music in order to allow patrons to enjoy their food and conversation. We decided to give it another shot on Monday night, hearing that someone new would be performing, and the result was very different. This gentleman at the piano was quieter, less intrusive and played at perfect noise level ~ therefore our party was able to talk and carry a conversation without screaming at each other and our dinner was quite enjoyable. Would return on a night such as this one. A great find. whether for nice dinner or stop in for coffee/espresso and dessert.

Went to a night time holiday function in the backroom– room is nice but was very warm– Buffet style– buffet was on the bar– kind of odd– and tight squeeze around other tables– Salads were good– Cesar and Spring Mix — there were chicken wings Hot and plain– adequate– Rice balls very good– Pasta with Basil pesto sauce was good but was weird they put crinkle cut carrots in it — i guess a pesto primavera— Eggplant parmigiana was very good– Chicken Marsala was watery like in a soup and flavorless– 2 kinds of pizza– cheese and pepperoni – very thin, which is fine but not when its so chewy you barely can eat it and dry— i was surprised with that– i have had pizza there before and it was always good— one dessert on a tray– mini canollis– average at best– not alot flavor–

I went to Renzo’s for a networking event. Having never been, I didn’t know what to expect. We walked into a small place and we were instructed there was a private room toward the back of the building. In all honesty there was no signage anywhere, which was annoying. We walked outside towards the back and entered the private room filled with guests. It was unbearably hot. I mean it was like entering a hot sauna. We checked in, got our drink ticket and went to mingle. That’s when I noticed the coal fired oven open behind the small bar area. Talk about fueling the fire! A piano player was playing but it was wasted on me since I was dripping in sweat all while trying to be professional. They had several fans going but it just blew hot air everywhere. I gulped down my water and tried some food– average at best. After 30 minutes in the sauna, I had to leave. I was relieved as I pushed open the door. It was cooler outside than inside! I understand these things happen but they knew of the private event and at what point did they start cooling the room or realize there was an a/c issue? I would have had an emergency repair company out immediately!

Had a family get together in the spacious back room. Food was perfectly cooked, with great presentation, and exquisite taste. The owner himself, Renzo, even came out and greeted us. Overall just a wonderful eating and socializing experience.

Went last night for probably the 10th time. Decent food, what you would expect in the way of pizza/pasta/salad place. Large choice of different specialty pizzas. Pasta cooked perfectly and our pizza had lots of chicken on it. Also they have outside seating in the front and a great open room in the back. Now the few issues I have: 1. Service is usually not great. We had the best waiter we ever had this visit and he was a driver filling in as a waiter. Must not have gotten the memo about waiters having an attitude there. Not overtly rude but not pleasant either. 2. Just noticed on this visit but the table cloths were filthy. They cover them with paper but the table cloths hang down below the paper and were covered in old food. I didn’t mention this to the table as I didn’t want to create a commotion but it was uncomfortable for me to say the least. 3. In the age of free refills, they bring out cans of soda! Come on man! Get with the times. Everywhere else is free refills. I hate that. Otherwise a decent place where everyone can find a decent meal.

$ 24 for noodles and a couple pieces of burnt, shredded chicken. Called it fettuccine Alfredo with chicken — but it was literally some noodles, sauce, and some scraps of burnt up shredded chicken — for $ 24… Is it in Boca? Sure. Was it ok? Yeah it was ok. But $ 24!!! Are you kidding? I could have and should have made this at home for 4 people for $ 10.

I heard Renzo was supposed to be famous for their pizza and the business is run by Italians, who else would know their pizzeria better, am I right? The set up and welcome is really nice. They’re are more seats in the back of the restaurant also. The staff and chef are extremely friendly and kind. I start out with the minestrone soup and salad with a side of sausage on top of broccoli. They are all really good and well flavored. Then comes the Sicilian pizza. No good. The appearance looks amazing but the flavor and bread are lacking. I was really expecting an authentic Italian homemade pizza pie here not something I can get at Stevi B’s/Pizza Hut. Sorry Renzo. Better luck next time!: \

Stopped in for late lunch/early dinner on July 4th of all days after visiting a relative in the hospital. I am so glad we did. After the terrible experience we had at Renzo’s of Boca(the more formal restaurant up the street), my hubby really wanted to try this more casual spot to give it another shot. I wasn’t so optimistic. The menu is very nice here, albeit a little pricey, but it’s quality food that is being prepared here. The pizza menu alone is huge but I really wanted to try the food. I opted for two«off the menu» items — fried calamari and chicken francese. Both were fresh and delicious. The chicken came with pasta or broccoli — I chose the broccoli which was fresh steamed and delicious dipped into the francese sauce. The red sauce served with the calamari was very nice, marinara sauce. Hubby had a giant plain slice of pizza which was very good and a chicken parm panini which was huge and hot and fresh and delicious. We ordered a Sicilian pie to go which I have yet to try but hubby said it was very good. They offer New York style sausage rolls, chicken rolls etc here(under stromboli), as well as a large assortment of pastas and chicken dishes and lots of sandwich options. Oh and the service was amazing with nobody rude in the house per other reviews here. Will be back for sure!

The pizza actually looks very good though once you lift it up to the plate grease drips off of it like Niagara Falls. The place is set up really nicely, the server was a little odd. I will most likely keep away from this place unless you’re absolutely desperate for pizza.

I’m a pizza snob, this place is my jam! Their pepperoni is delish along with other pizzas. Not a giant fan of sandwiches but when I want pizza this is the only place I will go.

We are Delray — ians completely enchanted with Renzo s Pizzeria on Federal Highway. I am a NY’er, my husband hails from Boston… between us we have an incredibly high bar for pizza. We’ve found NONEBETTER than Renzo s. All ingredients seem farm-to-table fresh, the pizza is always CRISP, the restaurant is super clean and inviting. The service as great as the food. And start with a garden salad… the most attractive, fresh delicious salad mix around(yes, this includes endive!). Great reasonable wine list. Leave all of the big box/franchise pizza places behind, they don’t hold a candle to Renzos.

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times; this is the tale of Renzo’s. The food quality at Renzo’s is most definitely hit or miss. Our go-to meal at this restaurant is the eggplant and Grandma’s pizza. Sometimes it’s really great, and sometimes it’s really not. Each time we go, we hope… but that’s getting a bit old. In an attempt to broaden our horizons, Mitch ordered the lasagna and it was served all smushed up in a silver baking tray… I ordered veal cutlet that was more breading than meat. Looking beyond the food, the owner walks around with a scowl on his face, the wait staff turns over on a monthly basis(if they stay that long), and if you eat outside, there are the tiniest bugs crawling on the wall. With so many other great Italian alternatives in Boca, I’d say pass on this one!
