Rick Limegrover – State Farm Insurance Agent

Rick Limegrover and his office are the most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with. Not only does my «agent», Rick Limegrover, not return my calls but when he has other people speak to me on his behalf, specifically Patricia Lucas, she is rude, indignant and completely ignorant. When I asked her to help me with a problem she told me that there was «no helping». However, she was more than happy to cash my checks that I paid promptly. My advice… Find ANY other agents if you need insurance as Rick Limegrover and his team is not only useless but dangerous.

Knowledgeable and experienced agent. Set me up with the right life insurance policy to meet my needs. Also very friendly.

They steal your money after they bind false coverage. My boyfriend referred me to this company and I feel really bad putting him in the middle of this. However, I feel that everyone should know how this company operates. My family has had an antique car that’s been in the family over 60 years and we’ve always had it insured with an insurance company specializing in Antique cars. My boyfriend suggested Rick Limegrover /​State Farm saying they did several of his cars and I should switch over to a more well-​known company like State Farm. He assisted me with the paperwork and made the introductions. They agreed to bind the coverage for the value of the car, which is over $ 100,000.00. We went with State Farm under my boyfriend’s advice, even though they were $ 100.00 more per year than the previous company. They agreed to the same terms and conditions that we had on our previous insurance policy for many years. They took our money and cashed our check.
The first problem, was they listed my boyfriend’s name on the policy and the car has NOTHING to do with him. He was simply the middle man, who put us in touch with each other. My boyfriend once again got involved and called and emailed them multiple times and they told us they could not fix it at this point and to let it stay on. This makes absolutely no sense, and my family and I were very upset.
Then to top it off… about 2 months later State Farm /​Rick Limegrover wrote me a letter saying State Farm only valued the car at $ 23,000 and if I wanted it to be valued higher, I would have to pay a hefty price for an appraisal. I immediately refused and requested to cancel the policy and return my money. This was not what was agreed upon. Typical bait and switch. Once again I had to ask my boyfriend to get involved. He contacted State Farm and they asked him to start emailing all kinds of documents and to have my family (which lives in a very rural area of central Florida and does not use email) to send documents from the original insurance policy. I advised my boyfriend this was a problem for my family and they were not able to just hop on a computer and send documents. There are no computers in their home, they still use US mail. He placed calls to State Farm and said he even sent both the rep and the owner of the company emails and left messages for the owner to call him to fix the situation. No one EVER called him back.
He became so frustrated that he offered to pay me back the money I wasted on State Farm’s bogus policy out of his own pocket. He deeply regrets recommending Rick Limegrover and State Farm to me and my family. So I hope it was worth it for you, Rick Limegrover, to steal my family’s $ 500.00 and manipulate us. We trusted you and I will make sure I let everyone know how you operate your business. You steal money from people and refuse to make good on your word. You really need to rethink your slogan, because you’re more like a NIGHTMARE neighbor.

After my previous review (it is below), Rick contacted me personally to figure out what happened. We went over it and they saw the mistakes that had been made. We had a meeting that included Rick and Brianna and they both apologized multiple times about the situation and explained that it was actually the fault of a an agent who no longer works there. All and all, I thought it was nice that they took they took the time to go over my account. I would recommend that you make sure your agent writes EVERYTHING down when you are there and that you have a copy for back up. I will continue to work with them.
I went to get my car inspection done 4 or 5 days after getting my car. On their website and on the phone they said that 10 days was what I had to do the inspection. I got a call a week or so after the inspection saying they needed to inspect my car, again. I took it… again. A few months passed, everything was fine and then all of a sudden my automatic payments stopped. I went to the office and they said that it was all fine. They talked about my other car and about a man with a car that was on my premium that I had never in my life heard of. My premium had gone from $ 120 something dollars to $ 165 something. I was just getting my new apartment so I was there to ask about that and change my address. Brianna Pitocchelli told me that they would let me know what happened. Apparently I never took my car for inspection… I took it twice. Apparently I also had changed my premium… no I didn’t do that. Apparently I refused to answer calls… I work through email because I go to school from 8am-​4pm and work from 4:30pm-9:30pm. So they tried to contact me «multiple times»… they left 2 voice mails and I emailed them about them.
