We also have a treadmill to provide video gait analysis when needed, as well as provide a testing area for your new shoes. We carry all the best brands and styles available, as well as those hard to find ones– Asics, Brooks, Saucony, Nike, Adidas, Pearl Izumi, Newton, Vibram, New Balance, Inov-​8, and Mizuno. History

Established in 1996.

The Runner’s Edge was founded in 1996 by Tom Vladimir and Carol Virga. We are South Florida’s largest running store with 4,500 sq ft in our Boca location and carry all major running footwear brands including Nike, Brooks, Asics, Adidas, Saucony, Pearl Izumi, Mizuno, Newton, Innov8, Five Fingers and more. Runner’s Edge was awarded the prestigious award for «50 Best Running Stores in America.»

Business Owner

Tom started racing Cross-​Country where he grew up in Seattle in 1982 and was running half marathons by age 16. He ran for Emory University and was the head CC coach at FAU in 1995 – 97. Tom has run many marathons from Boston, Marine Corp, Chicago (2:58), New York and Disney and was a 17:10 5K runner. Tom is married to Julie and has two kids Ryan (4) and Andrew (2) so he spends as much time chasing the kids as running these days but his passion is with coaching runners and he still loves to run!
