My first time here is when I went to one of their events to promote the salon. First off, I have to say that the salon is very clean and nice. At least for the event it was, again, only my first time here.
I wanted to get a feel for the salon and decided to go after receiving their email blast invitation mentioning demonstrations, cocktails and food. They also mentioned that the first 25 registrants would receive a free $ 125 or $ 150 gift bag. After arriving, you signed in and they were selling raffle tickets for what appeared to be the bag they were giving out. Really? Pay for raffle tickets? They could have asked everyone to drop a business card or fill out a piece of paper for the drawing. If they were in fact giving a bag to the first 25 registrants, you would think they would be walking around with them. I’m not saying they didn’t give them out but they might have after I left.
Demonstrations? I saw one person having something done with their hair.
Went to the bar, which mind you, they weren’t serving cocktails, as they advertised, only ¼ full glasses of red or white wine and the food was appetizers, your typical what seemed to be frozen appetizers that you buy from your local warehouse stores, which one of the ladies passing them out, claimed they were right from the restaurant in the same shopping center. Maybe so.
Ok so they’re a salon and maybe don’t know how to market. My point is, feeling deceived for a small event, doesn’t give me a whole lot of confidence in what they can do for my hair. Glad they had the event to decide if I would like to try the salon, but definetly would be afraid to trust them with my hair.

This place is simply amazing. I was visiting from Boston and got my hair cut with highlights with Shimi and everybody is raving about it. I think it is the best cut I ever had and can’t wait to go back next time I am there. Also the place is beautiful and I think I will check out the nail salon next.
