Our Deli department offers Boar’s Head meats & cheeses, freshly prepared salads, and made-​to-​order sandwiches. We brew fresh coffees and teas at our Tea & Coffee bar all day. Established in 1976.

The first Handy Pantry Food Store opened in 1976. This family owned and operated business has grown to 11 locations serving the Suffolk County community from the north shore to the south shore.

I’m from out of state and stop here for an egg sandwich every time I’m in the area. They have a great staff and great food at a reasonable price.

I like this Handy Pantry as it makes a decent sandwich plus it is also a small grocery store — so I can snag other items to snack on when not in the mood for a hero or eggs.
A little of everything and generally fast help behind the counter– some of the deli items are hit or miss in terms of availability– but usually there is something there for everyone.
Good coffee in the morning too if you are a breakfast person.
Lotto /​Powerball for the gambler in you.
Cheap prices for the deli items.

Wide variety of flavorings for coffee, excellent cappacino — delish! :) Fast and courteous service. A good place to do some quick grocery shopping — milk, standard fruits such as apples, dog food, canned soup, paper towels, that sort of thing. Their frozen dinners are typically too expensive though, as seems to be the case in all similar places, and the selection is very limited. But there’s a good deli counter which also has fast, courteous service. I heard they rake in over a million a year so clearly they’re doing something right. ;)
