The mission of Ada County Association of REALTORS® (ACAR) is to be valued by the real estate profession and the public, to protect private property rights, to better the communities in which we live, and to provide members with tools and resources to conduct their businesses professionally, ethically, and successfully.

ACAR is the largest local REALTOR® association in Idaho and functions in four general areas: Professional Standards, Education, Member and Community Service Projects, and Government Affairs.

ACAR is a tax-​exempt, non-​profit corporation with two wholly owned subsidiaries: the Intermountain Multiple Listing Service, Inc., and the REALTOR® Community Foundation. The MLS operates as a taxpaying corporation, while the Foundation is a 501©(3) charitable organization.

History

Established in 1920.

Originally established as the Boise Board of REALTORS®, we now operate as the Ada County Association of REALTORS® (aka ACAR).
