I cannot handle it anymore. The staff here at the front desk are on their phones 24⁄7. They barely greet me anymore. Aren’t there standards for not using your phone blatantly out in the open when you’re on the clock and representing a company? At least make an effort to hide it. One time I walked up to the girl at the front to scan my card, and had to reach over the counter to scan myself because she was on her phone, oblivious to my presence. Be more professional. On a separate occasion, I called to see when someone from finance would be in so I could talk to her about my account. The girl told me 9:30. I arrived at 9:30 only to be told she wasn’t there yet. I waited around until 9:45 when she finally walked in. No apology for being late. This place needs more professional employees or better management. I only go here because of location.

The cardio machines are some of the best in the valley. The problem lies with all the weight machines they’re crowded together and most are of the older variety with labeled and instructions on their use rubbed off or ripped off leaving you to guess on how to use them. The free weights are extensive though so that’s a plus. The staff is friendly enough and the bathrooms are top notch.

It seems like very time I’ve try axiom. I just always have the same problem. I had a membership last year and cancel it because they were charging me on a card that was not suppose to be charge. It took me awhile to get in contact with they’re Financial services and I wasn’t told how much I would be charge or when I was going to be charge for the annual fee. So when I saw a $ 50 fee I was really upset. But then I had to cancel because I was moving out of state. A few months later when I moved back they would called me to sign up again saying I would only pay $ 20 a month. And I did since it was less then last time. I was also told I could freeze my acc and I would just pay $ 10 for 3 months. And when I called to set that up they said sure and I would pay $ 10 for 3 months. Next thing you know I was still charge the same $ 20 for freezing my account. I called to see why and then they said I had to come in person and sign the paper work. Well they didn’t say that when I called they said they could do it on the phone. So now thinking my account was froze and it’s not I’m really upset they misinformed me and the lady on the phone was so rude and also stated that I did that last year and that’s not right she didn’t even verify me so how would I know if she was looking at the right account if I have a common name ! Anyways they just have horrible customer service.

Extraordinarily poor customer service(see other reviews if in doubt). My parents have been members at Axiom for several years at another location and recently moved to a home closer to the West Fairview location. I helped them get their membership sorted out so they can use this location. On their second visit they and their caregiver who was with them were told that they could not enter and no explanation was given. They were told to wait with no reasonable explanation. After 20 minutes of wasted time they were informed their account was«not paid up» — why would this take 20 minutes to discover? — who knows. There were not treated warmly and would happily have brought the account up to date much sooner. Operations manager was unapologetic, arrogant and sarcastic when asked for an explanation later of the issue by my parent’s caregiver. I have called multiple times trying to get a hold of someone to address the as f yet still pending account issue to no avail. This place may be fine if you’re looking to workout. However, expect flippant and arrogant treatment if you ever have an issue with your membership at this location. My mom who is the sweetest person in the world is still very upset over a week later about the abrupt and rude manner the desk staff addressed her with for an issue which is ultimately a problem with Axxiom’s account management. The location at The Village location close by is MUCH more friendly and competent.

This gym rips people off. My daughter was high sales pressured to join gym at outrageous rates and then sold personal training package that she was told she could cancel later, which she did. Then they claimed she never cancelled and tried to pillage her bank account charging her nearly $ 900 in a few days. The manager is never available to speak with and the customer service turns vulgar and hostile when you try to cancel programs or speak to them about programs you have cancelled. Do not join this gym. I think it’s about time to file a lawsuit and report to media the way these folks take advantage of young clients with little skills in dealing with criminal business practices. Beware!

The wifi at this gym sucks so I can never watch my shows!!! The meridian village and park center axioms were way better. The pool is smaller and the women’s locker room stinks. Also the steam room is not separate and is smaller as well. No towel service. All the equipment is so smashed in together because it is a smaller gym. I only come to this axiom when I want to get a quick workout with no frills because it is the closest one to where I live.

Terrible customer service. No compromise even when I’m only asking them to meet me halfway based on the front desk not communicating. I would encourage users to seek another gym.

Best gym in Boise. Has great free weights, machines, cardio machines, cycle room, basketball court, class studio, even has a crossfit area that rocks. Even has a lap pool and hot tub. And also a steam room and sauna. Did I mention the child care. You can’t beat this gym and the price rocks. They even have 3 other locations which are awesome. Axion rocks.

Great gym. Maybe not the best axiom in the valley but still one of the top gyms in the west Boise area. Down fall is they never fill paper towels — hand sanitizer etc. other then that just your typical bros like any other gym

Dropped in thanks to a friend’s guest pass. Gym was big. All the cardio was a bit crammed to the left. Locker room was clean. Was a bit disappointed that all the weights are rounded. Wasn’t any mats to set down on the ground. Had all the equipment I needed to get the job done. Wouldn’t mind going back.
