Bikes2Boards is a family owned business with over 70 years combined experience int the bicycle industry. We started in a garage and still operate in the same neighborhood, many thanks to our friends and neighbors!

Had to leave bicycle over night to get a tube replaced. When I went to pick up bike no one knew where it was. Random bikes were offered to me as, «is this it?». I could of easily walked out with a bike that was not my own.
Young kids working the front, not their fault. Maybe better organizational skills by owners and better training tools for front end employees.

I had a similar situation to Casey C. (one of the prior reviewers for Bikes 2 Boards) but mine has a better/​more positive outcome. I too had rode through a patch of goathead/devil’s thorn plants and had two flat tires. In all, I probably had 30 – 40 thorns tires. I took my bike to Bikes 2 Boards and they fixed it in about 24 hours. While I waited for it to be fixed I read the reviews here on Unilocal and saw the bad experience based on a similar situation.
At pick up time, before I paid for the service, I asked lots of questions about the shop’s methods for fixing tires punctured by thorns. I asked if they inspected the inside of each tire and pulled out any of the interior thorns that remained. The repair technician said «yes» so I completed the sale, paid for the new tubes, Slime protector in each, and rode it home (about ½ mile) on all asphalt. Within about an hour of getting the bike home the rear tire was completely flat.
Because I paid extra for the Slime anti-​flat protector the service technician said that in the event of a flat I should be able to air the tire up again, spin it to help the Slime coat the entire tube, and be on my way. Unfortunately the tube was so ruined that it couldn’t be aired up again and I was stuck.
I took the bike back to the shop and explained the situation. One day later they called and said it was fixed. I picked it up and they took care of everything as warranty work and there was no charge.
I’m pleased with Bikes 2 Board’s service and professionalism and have no problem recommending them. They did the right thing and stood behind their work. I will be back in the future!

I walked in and asked if they had any washers for my skateboard trucks. The guy acted as if he didn’t even know what skateboard truck washers were. He went around into the back of the shop and after 5 minutes came back out with 8 used dirty washers in a bag and then proceeded to charge me 3 dollars for them. MOST PROFESSIONAL SKATE SHOPS GIVE THESE AWAY BRAND NEW FOR FREE!!!
I’ll never go back to this place. I recommend everyone go to Newt and Harolds.
