When was the last time you took your car in for service and actually paid less, a lot less, than you were quoted over the phone? My truck started running rough over the weekend so I took it to an auto parts store where they gave me a «free check engine light» test. They told me that I needed a new Oxygen sensor. They also recommended Boise Clutch. So I called and made the appointment with Boise Clutch. They estimated the cost of the O2 sensor would be between $ 150 and $ 200. When I took it in the next day they double checked before doing the work and found that the only problem was a broken hose that connected the O2 sensor. They repaired the hose and it only cost about $ 63. I was blown away! From now on I’ll certainly be heading to Boise Clutch for my auto repair needs.

My vehicle’s warranty ran out & I needed to shop for a mechanic. I dreaded it. I asked friends for referrals, read online reviews, etc. I was out to hire a mechanic for life — yes, repairmen of any kind usually make me uncomfortable. Being a single woman, I just have a bit of apprehension of trying to be taken advantage of and I don’t like that! What I found in my research was Boise Clutch & Automotive. I love a $ 20ish oil change and that would give me a vibe for the place so I tried them out. It went well! They didn’t give me a song & dance about what I should replace now but they did tell me of a couple of things that should be on my radar. Since my first visit to them, I have returned many times and they have done nothing but be honest with me about usual wear & tear that I should keep on my radar for the future. They replaced a headlight at the drop of a hat. They have never taken advantage of me on.single.bit! Not are they only reasonably priced & they are honest. reasonably priced and are not out to rip you off. I’m far from a sucker & am always apprehensive of any kind of repair person upon the first meeting. I’m confident in the abilities of those at Boise Clutch. They are far more than just a bunch of clutch guys! They do it all. Ladies, if you’re looking for a mechanic that is fair, reasonable & honest go here!

The most knowledgeable, friendly and honest staff I’ve ever experienced. No one touches my car except for the staff at this location. 10⁄10 would recommend

My friend’s MOM recommended this shop-she’s been using them for years. I decided to give them a shot and got my oil changed in my truck. I had a local dodge dealer change my oil the last few times and they told me about a seal that needed repaired-$ 150 is what they quoted. I went to Boise Clutch and literally pulled in at 3:30 and left at 4:15 with the oil changed and seal repaired-$ 99 for BOTH. Outstanding service as well as value. They seem to really care about customers and offering great value. They seem to really run like a well oiled machine… pun intended.

I have a vehicle that is by definition a POS… it has tons of problems… I called down and spoke to Chris about their diagnostics and to see if it would be okay to have my car towed there. He walked me through their policies and said it wouldn’t be a problem. I had it towed down and within 4 hours had not only an answer, but a plan and a price quote. What is even more amazing was that I was able to leave my car there, take the old part with me and exchange it for the new part. They worked with me, took all of my annoying calls/questions, and did an incredible job. I cannot speak highly enough of them. It is difficult to find a trustworthy mechanic and I am grateful that I have been able to!
