We provide pool car distribution, cross-​dock services, inventory control for variety of products. We specialize in high value product commercial storage & provide local distribution. Dry van and flat bed trucking operates within Idaho and neighboring states. Local deliveries are conducted with a variety of vehicles capable of dock or floor delivery service. We offer self storage and moving through GoMini’s; portable containers, delivered directly to your home or office. Once the GoMini is filled and secured, either leave it at your location or have us store your container. If moving across town, at your convenience, we re-​locate the container. When project is complete, we retrieve the container. GoMini’s: moving simple as 1, 2, 3: we deliver, relocate, and pickup-​on your schedule.

History

Established in 1902.

Four generations of Compton’s have been serving Idaho families and businesses since 1902. Our great grandfather, J.R. Compton, using horse and wagon started the business by hauling freight from rail cars to local merchants. Today, we operate a state of the art trucks and modern commercial warehouse with rail, truck (dry van or flatbed) access. Industrial storage of commodities, cross dock service and trans-​loading product on/​off rail or truck has remained a primary focus. Moving families and storage of household goods was initiated in early 1960 as an agency with Mayflower. Today, local moving and self storage is accomplished using convenient GoMini’s portable storage and transportation containers specifically designed for ease of loading.
