Great cheap drinks, great people, and a great atmosphere! The regulars are friendly and inviting for new people. Plus there are sports on the tv’s and pretty women bartending! Oh and the burgers are phenomenal!

I wish the owners would read these reviews because most of them have one thing in common: worst service in Boise. This is a crime because the burgers are so amazing (except for the time I waited two hours for my food and it came back cold and burnt – let’s try to forget about that), and the fries are exceptional. Maybe the servers have to pool their tips? Maybe they don’t get tips? It is clear that they don’t care or know what they are doing and I am usually pretty lenient towards waitstaff since I have worked in the food service industry all my life.
It enrages me. I come in every week and they have no idea who I am. I always tip well despite the obvious lack of concern. Sometimes I ask for a menu and I don’t get one. Sometimes the server picks one person at random at my table and only asks for their drink order. Sometimes no one shows up at all while the waitstaff (at least, I think that is their job) stands in the corner and stares blankly into the distance.
Owners, please train your staff. Thanks.

Really depends on who’s working… It would be lower but Morgan the owner is an OG. Great place for cheap drinks and pretty excellent food. The fries are pretty bomb.

A must for any football (soccer) fans visiting Boise. The Bar is owned by 2 vets. Good beer selection great staff and X is a top bloke.

Since Fork gave up, this is (in my opinion) the best burger downtown which in turn is slowly served to you by the worst wait-​staff in the Boise area. I often wonder if the girls working there, remember they actually work there. There are times they don’t even make eye contact with you until you ask for help. If the owner is hiring specific busty women to get lusty guys in there to eat, he’s going to forego the people who don’t want to take 90 minutes to get a burger and beer. I’ve eaten there for at least 5 lunches and I’ve left angry over our server each time (Today she argued with us about when we ordered our burger that took over 30 minutes to come out yet only 3 people were eating lunch at the time).
If they can actually hire people who want to serve you, this could quickly turn into one of my favorite spots.
But… if you don’t care about service and want an awesome burger and some great beer. Go there… with time to spare.

Best burger in Boise, in my honest opinion. Good beer selection. Decent staff.

I was told by some foodie friends that this was the place to get a burger in Boise. Although the service was dreadful, the burger and fries were the best!
I ordered a beer and wings upon sitting down and the was told to write it on the sheet, staff «found» elk after the server told us they didn’t have any, staff lost 1 of the 4 order forms and argued with us that she never got it, didn’t get my beer ordered until after the lost order debacle, didn’t get my wings… staff made a weird Jew joke, damn near died of thirst BUT, it was the best burger I’ve had in years.
I would go back for the food, my wife puts more emphasis on the whole experience and probably won’t. Up the service game guys, you have potential! I’ll try to convince my wife to give us another shot.

I have nothing but great things to say. I am from out of town and stumbled across this little gem. It offered great food and great service and still offered that local bar «feel». I visit Boise a few times a year for work and this place is definitely on my must do list. I recommend to everyone atleast check it out. Your might say your experience was not as good as mine but I can tell you now you won’t be disappointed.

Nice job gentlemen. Great story line behind the ownership. Great selection of whiskey. Can’t wait to try the food sometime. Service was great! Nice to see a bartender with some knowledge and wit and not just dry and pretentious like so many others these days. Prices were reasonable. Only mild downfall was the tender said he got my first one, then charged for it at the end. Otherwise, thank you for being a real bar and not some yuppie hipster trash place. Good stuff.

Worst service ever. Waitress paid more attention to the table with more people than us. We all got our food at different times and it was mediocre at best. Then to top it off, she never came back to check on us and see how our food was and if we needed refills, then when we got the check, she tried to charge us more than what our bill should have been. Definitely will not go back here to eat.

Great location in boise and a spot for a tasty burger! If you like sports they have a ton of tvs and channels. Also excellent selection of beers at a fair price! Hit the happy hours to get a night started right!

I almost hate to write this review because I want to keep this place to myself! We go after work for happy hour and to watch games a lot. Their burgers are amazing!!! I ordered one with sautéed mushrooms onions pepperoncinis and blue cheese. The owner came out and asked it I wanted buffalo sauce mixed in the meat because it would go well. So glad I took his recommendation because it was the best burger I have ever had!!! Their egg rolls are also amazing. Not to mention their great selection of local beers.
This place is a win all around!

Amazingly good food for a pub. Great place to get a drink and food after work in bodo. A little off the grid as far as location not exactly one of the hops on a Friday or Saturday night. It’s small and has a good local feel.

The service is horrible. If you aren’t at the bar ordering drinks, they don’t care about you. Waited entirely to long to place our order, then waited longer for our food. My burger was still raw in the middle and when I say raw, I mean it was cold. My husband ordered an IPA and got a coffee stout. We didn’t even get napkins! Waited 45 minutes for my new burger, everyone was done. I had to take it home. Not ok.

Nice place, good music, tasty beer and the food was excellent! I will be back.

Outstanding chill bar! Great service, awesome drinks, and very kick back atmosphere. Must check it out if you are around the area. My two cents. R
