Greenman Health Shoppe – Brent Mathieu

I have fatigue and seborrheic dermatitis. I went to Dr. Mathieu hoping for some clarification. He was good at listening and wrote down all of my history.
However, when it came to actually solutions, they were lackluster. One of them, for instance, was for to go to a holistic healing retreat – awesome, if I could take a week off work and miraculously had $ 1,000 to spend.
For my difficulty losing weight, he recommended a $ 250 10-​day shake program and gave me a pamphlet. Not exactly helpful.
The real kicker, however, is that he doesn’t accept credit cards. I had $ 60 on me. I said I could buy the Unilocal coupon for the appointment – because then I could use a card – and then use the cash to cover some supplements he suggested. He said he’d never heard of the Unilocal coupon and that he’d rather have me mail a check.
This morning, I received the following email:
«My request for any future appointments would be that we get more clear on how you shall pay at the start of the session, and fees.
My experience of our appointment was that I gave tremendous effort, energy, valuable information to you of nearly 2 hours, and then at the end you seek to pay with a discount method that, imo, de-​values my services. My judgment, right or wrong, is that my services are more practical and helpful for your health conditions, than those of many other health care providers, but that due to the system, and your expectations and circumstances, I am not equally or well compensated.»
WHOA dude. Ok, you’re the one who had the coupon on your site. You’re the one who doesn’t take credit cards, doesn’t inform patients of that at the start, and then expects me to have $ 200 in cash. I wasn’t trying to get a discount – I was trying to pay you with the resources I had.
And the passive aggressive, demeaning email? Not exactly holistic health, guy.
I didn’t ask for the 2-​hour appointment. I didn’t want it, and I hated it. I’d recommend looking into other alternative health options in the valley and I’m never going back to Dr. Mathieu again.

Dr. Brent has helped me heal in ways I didn’t think was possible. He is a very holistic, enlightened healer with a wealth of experience and understanding. I can’t think of anything I wouldn’t see him for. Five stars isn’t enough.

I have been a patient of Dr. Mathieu’s for a couple of years now, and I cannot say enough good words about his expertise and knowledge. This spring/​summer I was suffering greatly from severe IBS type symptoms, within a few weeks of following Dr. Mathieu’s plan, which included much more than just pills, I was symptom free. And I have remained symptom free under his care. I greatly appreciate his guidance when it comes to my health, and I trust his wisdom.
