My husband and I just recently purchased two specialized hybrid bikes from here and we had such a positive experience! We went around to every bike shop in the Boise area and this was by far the easiest decision. They have a huge selection in bikes and also are willing to work with you to make it affordable. We worked with Max and he was amazing! He was honest with what bikes would work great for us and also threw in some discounts so we could get some new bike tires to fight against the goat heads and some other accessories! I would def recommend this bike shop to anyone!

I had a really good experience at this place. They gave me a great deal on a demo 29er Specialized Stumpjumper. Further, they seemed genuinely concerned about trying to make me happy rather than be pushy salespeople. Frankly, I don’t respond well to pushy salespeople, and if I was met with that at Kens, then I would have left. I met Ken and he seemed like a really classy guy. I would buy another bike here. Bought two bikes here and was very satisfied. Came with a free year of adjustments. Went on a ride and messed up the gears(from a very hard fall) and they fixed it in no time which is why I was inclined to write this review. Any bike bought from Walmart would have to be returned after something like that. The guys at the shop are very helpful

Only needed new tires for an old road bike, but Ken’s had the right selection of 27 inch tires when a lot of places carry only the high-end Armadillos, the low-end no-namers, or none at all. At Kens, I was able to pick from the mid-range tires that the internets recommended. The staff was great and did the job quickly and met Ken on my way out — reinforces my theory that people in Boise are the nicest, ever. Looks like a nice selection of new bikes too, mostly Specialized and Raleigh. And a really pretty red city bike that I want but can’t justify.

I know Ken personally and he is a great guy. This place has been around for a long time and they sell high quality bikes. My nephew got a bike here and it works great after 5 years. Some places like wamart sell disposable bikes. Ken’s would never sell disposable bikes.
