Let me start of by saying I love Panda Express and have enjoyed in states all over America. I have to say that this location is ran like garbage. There hours of operation are until nine thirty all week long. This last time we tried going was at nine on the dot; as we were walking up the last customer came out and the manger slammed the door right in our face and locked the door. We pointed to the hour sign clearly posted on the door saying nine thirty; he just shrugged his shoulders like who cares. I understand he is not the owner but somebody put this guy in charge hoping he has the best interest of panda in mind. I can tell you from personal experience all he has on his mind as his main priority is getting off work and watching tv. If you can’t handle staying open for thirty more minutes then you probably shouldn’t be managing.

Disgusting place and employees. My chow mein was so crunchy and old I almost broke my tooth. They were out of so many items, when we asked if they will make more he said it will be a while because the cook went on a smoke break. SO. GROSS!!! Maybe get some new employees???

Still. as per my original review. PARKINGHEREISNOTALWAYSEASY. They share a parking lot with Chipotle and Trader Joes. People drive far to fast in the small lot and there is far to much jockeying for spots IMHO. Okay, done with that(thank you Captain Obvious). I’ve grown to love this particular Panda Express in the last 9 months. Not because of the delicious food(because it’s been delicious since my first visit and remains so) but because of the staff. My place of business is within a mile of this Panda Express. Some days someone in my work group will think. «Hmm. Panda Express sounds good». then the word flies around my work group. We’ll have anywhere from 4 to 10 people wanting Panda Express for lunch. Since they don’t deliver, it’s up to us to put the order together and draw lots for who gets to go pick everything up. We cannot access the website at work, which is a drag, but we’ve found another way. Thanks to the wonderful Managers(most notably David & Danielle) the days of trying to phone in a long order, or tick off people behind me in line as I place 10 different orders– are over. How you ask? Here’s how. I am able to type up and EMAIL our order. David or Danielle then gets in touch with me with the total cost, so I’m sure to have enough cash to hand over when I pick up our HOT, FRESH, WELLPACKAGED order and to take back to the office. I can go around the line to the cash register, pay, and be GONE within about 10 minutes. Because the devil is in the details, emailing the order(often as a Word attachment) means the folks and Panda Express have all the info they need to label the orders, they know how many pair of chopsticks we need, now much soy sauce and how many fortune cookies. I LOVEIT. Lastly, because I can send the order in as soon as they open for business, they are sure to have plenty of fresh hot goodness prepared for packaging when the time comes. In my office we limit who we will order lunch from based on location, cost, reliability and how willing a restaurant staff is to establish a solid level of communication with us. I wish more downtown eateries were as easy to deal with as Danielle, David and all the folks at Panda Express.

Good food on the go. I give it four stars because I think the food could be improved to be more flavorful. Parking is convenient. Great location. Friendly employees.

I like Panda Express well enough to visit every now and again. This particular location left a lot to be desired. It was Saturday, late afternoon. A group of us, who had planned to go to another restaurant but they were having problems with their electric, came to PE. One other gal decided to have Chipotle next door, so we agreed to meet at the outside tables and eat together there. There wasn’t anyone else in line, so we ordered our food and got to the check-out. I went from the check-out to the drink station. The drink station was a disaster! The floor was very sticky(worse than an old movie theater) and there was trash and soda all over the place. One friend ordered the fried rice as a side, and it had little bits of corn in it. People: Eggs may have gone up in price, but they’re still inexpensive for what you get. No self-respecting fried rice has corn in it! One thing I like about PE is that you can split the side item, so you can get half chow mein and half veggies, or half white rice, or whatever. The others in my group didn’t know that, so I thought I’d share it with you. I sincerely hope for some improvements on my next visit so I can update this review.

The food was very good, the service was also good. Friendly staff. Con: the outside eating area was filthy. Someone needs to wash the tables and get the hose out as the area under the tables was the worst I have experienced. Would go back but if they don’t clean it up I will never return. Pure laziness.
