Phil is a Lead Educator within the Paul Mitchell community. This certification process pushes the limits of one’s knowledge on cutting, color, texture & make-​up. Phil is now a part of the Advanced Academy Technical Team of Educators. He has facilitated over 500 photo shoots and created a body of work that demonstrates his ability. This extraordinary Stylist has been sought after by several different companies for his innovative educational and technical design. He has taught classes from Atlanta to Los Angeles’s. He currently resides in Boise, Idaho where he is an Education Leader, Theory Specialist & Color Specialist for the Boise Paul Mitchell School. Phil Wood is also an owner of Philip James: a Paul Mitchell Focus Salon. This salon is where stylist can explore their passion for the industry. With this innovative stylist anything is possible. He guides each member of the team to unlock their true potential while helping them to cultivate a positive & team oriented salon environment
