Love their customer service — their staff are always willing to help. I’m sure they are encouraged to make a sale, but they are patient when you have a list of questions and want to check out other products or samples. And their return policy is awesome. If you end up not liking the product, you can return or exchange it with no questions asked.

Unfortunate that I can’t give them more than five stars. Meh. I shop here a lot and have never had an issue, associates are friendly, knowledgeable and leave you alone when you don’t need to be helped. Selection is a tad bit more limited than other Sephoras but you can always go online, no biggie. The reason I’m particularly excited about this Sephora is that the women here are truly and exceptionally kind and generous, in addition to knowing their stuff. I recently volunteered to get some gift bags together for women at a shelter and I approached the store to see if there was anything they could do. They went above and beyond to get involved and I honestly can’t be more grateful. Love you ladies!

I went to Sephora on the 28th, and this will be the last time I ever shop there. I have been a VIB customer for years. I walked into a messy store, the sales girls were all standing around, gossiping to each other and not in any hurry to take care of their customers; On top of that, 4 out of the 5 associates had rings hanging between their nostrils like cattle. As an Esthetician who takes skincare very serious, this is unacceptable. I may go in there once more, just to take pics of these girls and send to Sephora Corp office.

Your experience at this Sephora may vary greatly depending on the day you go. You could be swarmed by 3 different individuals, or, the ONE time you actually need assistance with something, everyone is too busy to help you. The Sephora«point system» is also somewhat ludicrous, as those in the program hardly reap any benefits worthy of the amount of money they’ve spent. The«VIB» program is even worse. There really aren’t many additional perks or benefits. And the free stuff is basically nonexistant.(Yeah, I used to buy a lot of makeup). They do offer free samples of products, so they have that going for them… which is nice. I just don’t think it’s worth going to the mall for this store. It may be beneficial to those shopping here to research their makeup and opt for cheaper, comparable products.

Why didn’t they have YSL at this Sephora? Maybe it was a trade off because they had a pretty awesome fragrance selection compared to other Sephora’s I’ve been to. Like some of the others have said, they’re definitely not short-staffed at this location, but it was one of many Boise offerings I enjoyed. Keep it classy, Sephora! You did right by me this time. :-)

Okay so everyone knows what Sephora is about, so this review is primarily based on customer service. I got to the mall at ten a.m., but when I got to Sephora, the doors were locked while three associates stood around gossiping. One of them was still counting her till. I’m sorry, but if you have three people opening, your till should be opened on time. When they saw me taking pictures(as I always do when I’m out), they rushed to open the door. They greeted me as I entered and I told them I didn’t need any assistance. They checked in with me a couple times, which is fine by me. However one associate did follow me every time I went into a corner aisle. Like really? I may look a bit younger than I am, but I’m clearly not some teenager who needs to shoplift makeup! At least she attempted to be subtle about it by pretending to be straightening the shelves(like seriously? You just opened and I’m the only customer around. Clearly the shelf was not in need of straightening). However, I won’t fault them too much for that because I worked retail when I was younger and they tell you to follow people around the store, so it’s not that big of a deal as long you’re not profiling people(which I don’t think they were considering…). When I did need an opinion deciding between a Lancome palette and a Too Faced palette, one of the other associates helped, so that was nice. I did have to wait like ten minutes to get a perfume sample made, though, so that was irritating. Also, their tester makeup for a lot of products are really gross. I didn’t even want to swatch things on my hand! Overall a tolerable experience that was only slightly annoying. Not bad for a store that usually hires teeny boppers as associates.

Heidi was amazingly helpful. I went in looking for a BB cream to cover up these new blemishes I have come to be blessed with; walked out a bit more educated on what’s going on with my skin lately and with a few products that I hope will do more than just covering up my once often complimented skin. Thank you so much Heidi!

Sometimes they’re out of the items I need and I have to end up ordering them online. However, their customer service totally makes up for it! I used to be a loyal customer at MAC but after consistent terrible customer service there, Sephora is now my go-to store for cosmetics.

LOVE this sephora! I do makeup for a living, and am obsessed so obviously Sephora is like my personal version of Disneyland. I’ve been to hundreds of them… California… Italy… Paris… but I love the staff at our Boise one :) So helpful, they actually know what their talking about. Wait. what?! The sales-women in this store actually have some product knowledge?! Fancy that! :O Thanks for all your help guys! Y’all rock.

Really? Is a review even necessary of my happiest place on Earth! This store is my Disneyland. It smells pretty, it’s full of shiney things, and GLITTER — there’s lots of things with GLITTER! Walking in just hits all my senses and makes all my 2000 parts even happier. I just want to dance and twirl when I am in Sephora!

I’m always a very happy camper whenever I have the chance to shop at Sephora, because I live 5 – 6 hours away from the nearest Sephora locations-Boise and Salt Lake. With that being said I was just giddy to be there and having money to spend! I do agree with the other poster, one person comes to asks if you need help and then the minute you move to another brand section a second person is already coming up to you. It seems like they have way too many people working at any given time. Also, almost everything I was looking for wasn’t shelved… they had to radio in to the back to see if they had any in stock back there. Pretty annoying. Seems to me they should have had a couple girls who didn’t have anything to do restocking shelves. They were also out of a few items completely, bummer. Also, I was looking for the Shu Uemura eyelash curler(my favorite) and one sales lady told me you could no longer get that brand in the US. Wrong,. You can’t get it in any Sephora or other actual store fronts, but you can still buy it from Shu Uemura USA online. I wish she would have been better at explaining this. I love the beauty tools section, cute tweezers and I got a pair of rhinestone toe-seperators. Fun. I will be back next time I drive though.

Great customer service friendly staff and huge selection of cosmetics to pick from pretty much anything u want and more. Only reason they didn’t get 5 stars is uncoordination of the staff when it came to meet and greet to the point of annoyance. I wanted to just browse and play and shop and buy with no paticular purchase in mind. I spent ½ my time there telling the employees that as they were very slow and lacked customers. I think I was approached by every single staff member that night. when I did have a Q they were quick to respond. Found out CARGO was pulling their line and had half off so I ended up getting eyeliner and lip gloss will go back on payday to get Urban Decay book of shadows as a gift for someone They had me fill out their customer loyalty card and gave me a birthday gift which was a mini mascara eye pencil and white eye shadow how nice as well as an extra Sample of clinique way more fun than shopping their online store Awesome cust service girls! 2 thumbs up just don’t overdo it so the customer doesn’t feel they can shop
