Verdant CrossFit

As someone who has been involved in crossfit for the better part of 4 years I have seen a number of gyms. We were very spoiled with our first gym in Arizona and based every other experience on that one. Everything from coaching, to programming, to atmosphere as well as social gatherings.
Verdant has nailed it on all accounts. It is a new gym but the coaching is first class and very personalized. It is a warm welcoming atmosphere which is awesome for people that are new to trying crossfit, as it can be very intimidating. Everyone is there to be friendly and help you be a better you. We are huge advocates and typically go 4 – 5 days a week. The workouts are as hard as you want to make them, and easily scaled for any fitness level.
Check your ego at the door, come on in and get in the shape you wish you were in.

I am new to Boise and am only here for a limited amount of time. I originally was going to go with another CF gym (due to walking distance from my hotel), but after driving by CF Verdant I made my choice. Every single person that was in there was extremely nice, polite, and motivating. The coaches were knowledgable and overall approachable. The environment they have created is not only friendly to visitors, but also appear to be family friendly/​oriented because of the kids I saw. Also as we were finishing, they had a paleo stand with food setup. Now I don’t believe this is normal, but it was nice to have. They do allow drop-​ins which is great for me. Whenever I am in Boise, Verdant will be my go to place to train! Thanks to everyone there!

There are a few great Crossfit gyms in the Boise area but this one is by far the best. The owner and all trainers are lifelong fitness fanatics with a tremendous amount of knowledge about both fitness and nutrition. If you’re trying Crossfit for the first time they will appropriately scale your workout to make sure it is tough, while also preventing you from hurting yourself due to poor technique. If you’ve done Crossfit before they will challenge you to improve your stamina, strength, and technique even more.
The community of the gym is also second to none. You will train with some of the best athletes in the country. About a dozen athletes have been to regionals and the games as individuals or teams. Additionally, there’s a tremendous amount of support not only for the competitive athletes, but for everyone. There’s even a chiropractor in the gym to help with any injuries or concerns.
