I dropped in here to pick up some beer, but about 2 out of 50 cold beers had a price. I didn’t feel like asking the guy the prices of everything, nor did I feel like guessing what it might cost so I left empty handed. It seem like it is a new trend for liquor stores not to have prices on anything and the trend sucks.

Can’t go wrong with this place. Prices generally stay the same year round. Some bottles of Liquor go on sale if they have a surplus, for example Svedka vodka 1⁄5 bottles usually range between 7 and 10 bucks! They have a huge liquor section as well as, plenty of wine and a decent selection beer brands. If you compare prices to a Jewel or Dominicks, handles and bottles are about $ 6 — $ 9 less. They have quite a variety of different liquor from the same brand, for example: different Smirnoff, Svedka, Absolut Vodka, Bicardi flavors, etc. The owners may look a bit odd, but they are cool. The man with the shaved head and tattoos is who I think is the owner. And he will recognize you even if you’ve only stepped in there once a year. Also yes, there is a pitbull which in my opinion makes the store a better place… As far as value and selection, Foremost is my most preferred liq shop. Binny’s Beverage Depot is good for selection but not so much for price… I just wish there was a Foremost on the other side of Bolingbrook too!

What do you call six teeth, three people, a rust orange colored sofa, and a large selection of liquor? Well, I call it Foremost Liquor. When we walked in the door there were three people sitting on a couch behind the counter on a raised platform. Oh, and the family dog was there too. We just went in to get a bottle or two of wine for a dinner party, and just didn’t feel like stopping off elsewhere. But I can’t knock the place. They had a gigantic wine selection. A whole aisle, and all along half of the back of the building. After a bit of browsing, I spied a really nice bottle of German Riesling, And my husband said it was a good find.(Something to do with the temperature of the grapes makes this wine not available too often.) It should have been about $ 30-$ 50. But alas, it did not have a price, and I could not find another like it, so we took our chances. We get it to the counter, and one of guys gets off the couch, and I explain to him that there was no price on the bottle. He was really cool about it, and sent another associate to see if he could find a bottle that looked like ours and tell him the price. Well, somehow we ended up with this bottle of wine for $ 8. As we were paying for our purchase, a young man walks in, and the family dog starts growling(family dog is a pit bull by the way), and that’s enough to chase the guy back out the door. We just kind of looked, and the owner explained that«Rex don’t like no minors.» We just kindly nodded in agreement and got out. Hey, for a bottle of deep discount wine, and free entertainment, you cannot go wrong with this place! Just be careful, because if Rex don’t getcha, something tells me there is a double barreled sawed-off shotgun under that sofa as well!
