This liquor store has been a landmark in the Bonita/Paradise Hills locations for decades and has only gotten better with time. The beer selection is better than any of the other liquor stores I know of in the Bonita/Paradise Hills /Spring Valley areas and is visually in a beautiful location. Remember them having a deli many years ago but haven’t noticed it lately if they are still operating it. Definitely check this place out for micro brews or imports since they have an entire shelf dedicated to German beers that took me by surprise.

I go into the store often, I live near by so it’s great to have a convenient store across the street.

Fail. This place sold me a rotten bottle of wine. I went back with in 15 min. The guy said«how can it be bad, it’s brand new” — not that I expect the clerk at the liquor store to be informed on the intricacies of wine, but I would expect that he would know it could be bad. He refused to refund or replace my wine. I even finally agreed to buy a new bottle, but I needed to go & taste before I bought it– nope, nada, nothing, thanks for you $ 15 dollars

My SD family lives pretty close to here and we often grab liquor here before we head to another family house to jump off on DT excursions. It’s pretty centrally located and gets plenty of traffic and visibility due to the gas station and freeway proximity. Not much to say about it. The service is pretty good, not all that engaging in conversation, prices are good and it’s actually cleaner than many other bodega’s. It’s less a liquor store because they do have some convenience store items., but nothing I would consider fresh. Plus they close at 9. The standard liquor selection of mid to low end brand names along with 1 – 2 of the top shelf browns versus high end clears. It’s pretty efficient to get in and out, everything is clear and well placed. Beer selection is sub par imo, they have a lot and a lot of varieties. With the craft scene for even liquor stores to not carry something from a local brewery is the real tragedy. Plenty of wallet friendly wines, perfect for starting a party with the good stuff and switching to the liquor store wine. Parking lot in general sucks during rush hours in part due to crappy design. I come near close and it’s not a big deal. I prefer cash even though they take card. ATM, hookah tobacco, no ecigarettes, but the janky humidor. Cigarettes here are kind of cheap, but apparently was old stock.

This liquor store sits conveniently in between Bonita and Paradise Hills. In my youth(before the 54) this was the main way to get to Paradise Hills and the liquor store benefited greatly from this traffic. They have the normal selection of liquor and beers and also have a small market so you can get eggs and milk and such. They close fairly early(9PM I believe) and the parking sucks some times. I am not 100% sure but I believe they have a small deli as well but I have not sampled it yet.
