History

Established in 2010.

This business was started to assist home owner’s, business owners, realtors and architects in analyzing the costs for construction prior to purchasing or prior to contracting with a contractor or builder.

Keith Powell has worked as an estimate/​consultant for more than 30 years and in five states, assisting home and business owners with pre-​construction and pre-​purchase issues. He was previously a general contractor and has assisted contractors in pricing their remodeling and new construction for fifteen years.

Business Owner

Keith Powell started in the construction industry as a carpenter with his father, a well known historic restoration contractor. He went on to start several businesses contracting for construction (70’s through the 90’s) as well as five years working on the oldest homes and commercial sites in America as an historic restoration specialist.

Keith has worked as a consultant for many years assisting business owners with turn-​arounds and start-​ups, helping to set up filing systems and protocol as well as operations procedures. He has develpoed his own proprietary data base for estimating construction costs.

He has worked for many prestigious construction firms, such as Dooley Mack, Pat Cook Construction and Raleigh Custom Homes. He currently assist several general contractors, outside Western North Carolina, with estimating, purchasing and project management.
