Business Owner

Jamie Vaughn is the business owner with a unique and down to earth perspective to tanning. She is a Boone native and strives to offer a personal relationship with her clients by being a part of the salons daily tasks and service. She took over the business from previous owners of 7 years, November 7^th 2015. Kara Tester is the manager of Planet Tan salon. She is also a local gal, graduating from Watauga High School in 2010. She has been in her position at the salon for 2 years and has found her element here with the clients. She has been inspired to help the business grow from the beginning and works daily to improve the efficiency of the salon and keep everything up to date. Jamie and Kara both agree that the inspiration behind this salon comes from the saying, «Make Time for Yourself. You are Important!» Take time to get some light therapy in, relax, take a break, hang out, vent, enjoy the music, enjoy the tanning lotion smells, and most importantly enjoy yourself!
