Specialties
Primo’s is a nice little Italian Restaurant. Fresh, hand-made pizzas, hearty to elegant pasta dishes, and much more. Also a great place to hang out.
Primo’s Pizza, Pasta and Subs, at the Boone Mall, is one of Boone and Blowing Rock, NC’s favorite Italian restaurants. We are serving up delicious hand-tossed pizza, GIANT, mouth-watering calzones and strombolis, just like Mom’s pasta, and a tasty lunch menu including hot and cold specialty subs. We even have gluten-free options, including pizza, pasta, & even beer!
In addition to some of the best food in the area, you will be impressed with the fast and cheerful service, EVERY DAY drink and food specials, and the atmosphere that always makes you want to stay a little longer. Primo’s offers a complete bar selection including beer, wine, liquor and mixed drinks.
Primo’s is the perfect spot to watch your favorite sports, grab a quick bite or $ 2.50 slice for lunch, a nice night out, an easy and tasty night in, and so much more.
History
Established in 2009.
Primo’s Pizza, Pasta, & Subs was opened in May of 2009. It has since become a local favorite spot for great food in a casual and cozy atmosphere.
In November of 2011, new owners bought Primo’s, mother-daughter team Myleia Slagle and Beverly Ward. Myleia brings over 15 years of experience, from years as a pastry chef, fine dining chef, executive chef, and of course, home cooking. Since then, they never stop working to maintain the quality that makes Primo’s so great, with a focus on lots of flavor, great, friendly service, homemade food and family recipes, and fresh ingredients.

Business Owner
Chef Myleia slagle is a co-owner of Primo’s with her daughter, Beverly Ward. Myleia brings 14 years of culinary experience with her, starting at the Walker Center in Wilkesboro and Grandfather Mountain Country Club. She then moved on as Pastry Chef for the fine dining country bed and breakfast Glendale Springs Inn, where she worked her way up to Executive Chef. She then moved on to 6th & Main in Wilkesboro, where she prepared many more cuisines. Throughout her career, Myleia has won cooking competitions including the Shine to Wine competition in Wilkesboro, and been featured in several publications including Our State Magazine. But she is proudest of her daughter, Beverly, and owning her own restaurant.
Myleia always says that her secret ingredient is «love,» because she loves food and loves preparing it for others. Myleia can be found every day in the kitchen, making lasagna, coconut cream pie, homemade meatballs and lots more homemade goodies.
