I will continually use Mario & Franks. There pizza is as close to NY pizzeria. Everyone else I tried is mediocre. They service is fast and the customer svc is friendly. My kids love the buffalo wings and sometimes we just order wings. There prices reasonable and I will continue to support them.

I give this place 2 stars because their pizza is ok if you are stuck in this area and you really want it. They are over priced and stupid when you order, cd food by time you get it and you end up getting at least one thing messed up. This area isn’t really too good for pizza anyway so you’re better off ordering Dominos or a frozen pizza to save money.

This restaurant is very surprisingly amazing!!! We had the meatlover’s pizza and it so packed with very tasty ingredients. The cook was from Sicily and he was amazing. He was very informative and very proud of their house made food. He gave as a sample of their tomato sauce which made me decide to order some spaghetti and meatballs. He paired it with some delicious fresh soft bread that I could not stop eating. The cashier who was part Puerto Rican was so friendly and very patient with us. She put a smile on our face and actually made our anticipation and wait worthwhile. We asked about the buffalo wings and everyone around including the drivers said that they would be awesome. I couldn’t help it but to take their recommendation and ordered some wings also. Once I started eating the wings, I was very relieved. I had such high hopes for these wings and they did not disappoint. The smell right away gave me quick kick from the spicy sauce. The wings were cooked perfectly juicy and tender. These guys could not do anything wrong. The food were amazing but the pride of these diverse and great staff just put our dining experience one of the best in New Jersey. The next time I travel from my home in Virginia to New Jersey, I will make a planned stop and see these guys again. Thank you thank you thank you!!!

So we were in town for his drill weekend and decided to order in some deliciousness. We had several menus and narrowed our choices to two, Mario & Franks II and another restaurant. We actually decided on the other restaurant but made the mistake and dialed Mario & Franks to place the order. What a terrible, terrible mistake. We ordered what we assumed was baked penne with grilled chicken, flounder, and garlic cheese bread. The best parts of the meal(which is the reason for the 1 star) were the accompanying salads and the garlic cheese bread. The penne pasta was tossed in a bland pasta sauce, unbaked with bland chicken that had been slightly pan cooked and totally not grilled. The flounder… TASTELESS!!! Admittedly these items are not on their menu(as we were ordering from Empire’s menu) but you would think they would have sense enough to say so. Instead, they cooked TERRIBLE versions of our selections. To add insult to injury, there were no utensils. We had 10 paper plates with no utensils to eat with. When we called M & F to inform them of this they told us that we were to request utensils. SERIOUSLY, you are delivering pasta, fish, and salad to a hotel and you expect the patron to know to request utensils!!! Ridiculousness. Mario & Franks please do better, at least for utensils. A very disappointing Saturday dinner.

Really good food! Never actually sat in and ate there(I usually order delivery) but I’ve never been disappointed with anything. The pizza in my opinion is the best around. Since I grew up in the NYCT area and I’m used to awesome pizza, to say they have the best around is a pretty big deal. Their panini’s and hot subs are just as good to rave about. 4.4 stars.

Terrible. MUSTAVOID. Friday, Nov 29, 2013. 6:00PM The place was run by teenagers. We had a uninterested waitress that not even once said welcome, please, thank you, may I, etc. She never smiled, and it looked visibly annoyed to have to serve us. The food was really bad. How can you mess up simple tomato sauce? It tasted as it was directly pour from a can, as it had no taste or any seasoning. The pasta was over cook in one plate and undercook in another. At the end of a terrible meal, which we could not eat, the check was slammed in our table by the delivery boy, as the waitress seemed more interested in playing with her phone. We had to take the check to the register and speak up to be charged as at the register there seemed to be a get-together-and-be-annoying group of teens, including our waitress and the delivery boy. The delivery boy tried to ring us up, but he has no clue how to split a check; he turned and asked for help to the waitress who replied: -«get out the way you moron!». Loud and clear in front of costumers. As an overall I would recommend to AVOID visiting this place.

This is an average local pizza joint in a small town. We usually order from them once in a while, but only because they are literally one of the only pizza places that deliver in this area. The pizza is decent, and the pricing is reasonable as well, especially with one of the coupons from their menu. Their sandwiches are really hit or miss. The cheesesteaks are either served on a pretty good roll, or sometimes they bake up an oval of pizza dough and make that the roll. The pizza dough version is terrible, and you never know what they will send on any given day. The pizza dough«roll» falls apart, and is very oily. It is just not good at all. The other thing I can tell you about this place is about a delivery we once had. We used the coupon for a large pizza and two cheesesteaks. We used to get this literally almost once a week., and we had been ordering them for years without issue. When we got the delivery one time, there was only one sandwich, and when we called to let them know, we got an earful from the owner saying we were lying. I was floored. Why would a long time, regular customer, call and lie about a $ 5 sandwich? It was the first time we ever called with an issue. Since then, we only order from them as a last resort, when there is nothing easy to make for dinner, or need to go grocery shopping.

This review is for their garlic knots only. From 2008 – 2010, I left my adopted hometown of Philly for Bordentown, NJ, as to make my NYC work commute shorter. While Bordentown is a quaint little small town with a decent«strip» of shops, restaurants and bars, it was by no means Philadelphia. I made my triumphant return to Philly but there has been one food item that Bordentown had on my fair city, and that was the perfect garlic knot. Mario & Frank’s II in Jersey has the lockdown on the lovely dough of garlicky goodness. I have witnessed a close girlfriend of mine devour a large order of their knots by herself because of their epic greatness. And believe me, it’s great to know that such a lovely knot exists out there, except for the fact that from the number of garlic knots I have tried in Philly(either before I moved to Jersey or after I returned), I have not been able to find a comparable alternative. They really are that good. Perfect size, taste and texture. Garlic and basil on the outside, soft and doughy on the inside and just chock-full of garlick-y goodness. Just thinking about them right now is making me hungry!

So I’m trolling the front page of the internet and get the urge for pizza. I google«pizza» and«Bordentown» and hit«Im feeling lucky»; result? Mario & Franks II. I order the 18″ sicilian 1 topping(nunya beeswax on my topping choice) and an order of fried mushrooms(10 pc). These items are delivered in a timely fashion to my doorstep. Cool. I pay and grab the food… wow…this freakin pizza weighed more than my meteorology textbook. Oh, and the mushrooms were plentiful as well. They came in a tin bucket. A BUCKET. I have a new pizza place 4lyfe. RECAP pizza = textbook mushrooms = bucket

I grew up in NJ so every time I come back here I order a pizza.(NC just doesn’t know how to make a good pizza). I gave the person on the phone my credit card info and he said it will be 55 minutes. It came in 52. The front desk called me and said my delivery guy was waiting for me there(something I usually do being a single female traveling). I went to the front desk and they guy tells me the total. I told him that I already gave my CC# over the phone. He seemed quite frustrated with me and takes out his cell phone. He asks me for my credit card. I gave it to him and he proceeds to tell the person on the other end of the phone my credit card # and expiration date in his loudest voice. Everyone in the hotel lobby heard him. I was asking him to hush but there was no hushing this man. Pizza was good… thin crust and lots of cheese. Love me some northern pizza — now I need to go contact Lifelock.

In town since March 2012 back and forth on business. Staying at the Candlewood Suites — Bordentown. Front desk staff introduced me to this place because they deliver door to door service. 1) Delivery was fast 2) Food was hot and fresh 3) Food was plentiful(enough for lunch the next day) 4) Price was fair I will try this location again to see if it was a fluck – or if I will keep it in my «Fav Five» places to eat from. No complaints so far. The Windy City

Very disappointed. I ordered for delivery for my first time and waited almost TWO hours for my food when I was told 45 minutes. Completely unacceptable and will not be calling again.

My review of M&F’s 2 is long overdue. I’ve been going here frequently for a number of months now and there’s a number of updates I need to make. First, «most» of the staff is exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The waitresses are especially pleasant and are very attentive to their customers. The owner, Vinny, is also very much on top of his customers and always making sure they are happy. This is a +1 star since my last review. Second, the volume and quantity of food this place produces to go out the door for deliveries to nearby Bordentown, Fieldsboro, Columbus, etc. on a friday night(more so a Friday night during Lent) is something to see. The delivery STAFF(not person — STAFF) is constantly coming and going. On a typical week night though its about as busy as most other pizza places you would expect to see in a small town. For prices and coupons, this place offers lots of «specials». They give you coupons when you leave, they advertise in the local area with the kids sports teams, they put signs out, etc. Whats nice is thier prices are pretty darn good(not great) to begin with. Some things like sandwiches are especially cheap and for less than $ 7 you can get yourself a nice big hearty chicken sandwich. Lastly, their food. The pizza is overall excellent in many categories. Their kitchen(entrees and sandwiches remain OK, but definitely not great-excellent) Anyway, in sum I REALLYREALLYWANTTOGIVETHISPLACE5STARS, but I just can’t find it in me YET. But overall, yeah, 4-stars, I’m a fan. *** Minor Update on 6 – 18 — taking off one star for a late delivery that I had asked for at a specific time. Was delivered way late vs. time requested with plenty of notice and confirmation that they would«see us at noon» ***

This is actually located in the small nearby town of Fieldsboro. We order pizza from Mario & Franks II every Friday and stop by for lunch throughout the week. The food is GREAT. All of it, not just the pizza. But the pizza is great too :) Large menu to choose from and different specials on different days. Inside is nothing fabulous, just your typical NJ pizzeria. When the weather gets warm they do open up a small deck so you can eat outside. They also started offering different cuts of meat that they will grill in front of you outside. Most important, the owner and his staff are AMAZING. They are always so friendly and chat with you while your there. They are Italian family members and friends who work extra hard to make you happy.
