I made the mistake of ordering two scoops of ice cream (cookies and cream and strawberry cheesecake, both of which were excellent.) The mistake was thinking the scoops would be what I’m used to in the city. Instead each was the size of my fist (and I’m 6’3 and do not have tiny hands like the Burger King guy.) Even after sharing it around as much as I could it was tough to finish.
We also tried the jalapeño fudge. It was good but I expected more kick.

Although the name doesn’t indicate it, this also the only place in the ironically identified «downtown» Borrego Springs CA area to get a decent shot of espresso.
They also have some homemade fudge and some ice cream for sale. This shop is located in the shopping center across the street from «the mall.»
I feel compelled to mention the fact they had anti-​abortion pamphlets available like you might see show flyers in more urban settings. Not saying it’s a problem, it’s just a fact.
