The Springs At Borrego Rv Resort and Golf Course

Pros:
–The place is nice.
–Staff is friendly.
–clean bathrooms
–pet friendly (no extra charge)
–activities on weekends (some included with your stay)
Cons:
–quite time is at 9 (little too early for those of us having a good time)
–pool has a dumb rule about adult quiet time adults only in pool from 3 – 5 which is ridiculous. There’s adult only resorts for Bologna like that. Adults make more noise when drinking at the pool then kids splashing water. My kids were kicked out of the pool not by staff But by adults in pool who seem to have paid more than us say who can stay and go. So kids being kids is frowned upon here from 3 – 5 at the pool but it’s ok for adults to be in the pool totally wasted (true story) and cursing around the kids. Either they need to change that rule or just not allow kids at all in this resort. Last time I checked this is a family friendly resort.
This will be last time I come here. My kids like to have fun and so do we when we’re on vacation.

We stayed at the resort/​RV park last weekend. After three nights we can definitely give this place a five star rating. The grounds were spotless, and the pool and Jacuzzi’s were wonderful. And the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. When we complained about our first spot because of allowed power box they moved us to a new quiet spot and refunded the majority of our stay. I will say that we were here off-​season, so the park was pretty empty, quiet, and relaxing.

Grounds were beautifully maintained, staff was very friendly and camp hosts even stayed late to let us in and guide us to our spot. I would give them 6 stars if I could!

This place is fabulous! We stayed in the overflow area with our toy hauler. We had a lovely spot overlooking the golf course. The staff is wonderful and everything is spotless. They even rake the gravel landscaping and draw dragon flies. What with free classes, golf, tennis and far more amenities than I can list this is by far the best RV park we have ever stayed in!

We stayed here in December and really liked it. Very clean and maintained. The bathrooms were also very clean. The staff were super professional and accommodating. They have a dog park which is also very well maintained. We will definitely come back again.

Came here and stayed in the park model trailers. We had 2 families in one, 4 adults and 4 kids ranging in age from 3-​teenagers. They all had a blast and we were all very comfortable. The park model was spotless, impeccably clean and very comfortable. A/​C kept the trailer ice cold. Park models even include a BBQ, table and 4 chairs. The entire facility was spotless and all staff members were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They left us alone for the most part which was nice. :) If you are staying in the park models, bring citronella candles. The bugs loved hanging by the light at the front door. We had a great time and look forward to coming back!

This place is awesome. Facility is clean and fun. Perfect for your fur babies and the entire family!

We took our new trailer out for the first time and stayed there. Loved it. We will definitely go back. Nice pull thru spots, very clean and complete hook ups. They welcomed U.S. and our 4 legged family members. There is a golf course, dog park, and pool. Very quiet and relaxing.

Stayed here in May from Sunday to Wednesday. Weather was hot and windy. About 90 to 96. Golfed at the course onsite. Well maintained and green. Paid $ 20 for 9 holes with cart. I was the only golfer on the course. Went out at 3 pm; took me 75 minutes to play 9. The pro shop picked me up at my rv site which was nice. We stayed at site 928. Near the green on the second hole. Great views of the course. The pool and jacuzzi were nice. I am used to a crowded rv park but going this time of the year was pleasant. Maybe only 10% of the spaces were booked. We were the only ones in the pool. Bring a bike as you can ride to town to shop and eat at restaurants. Would definitely come again.

We were looking for a place to spend Spring Break with our friends and our 3 pre-​teen boys. We were very impressed with the amenities at the park and booked our stay for the last week of March. When we arrived everyone that worked there was very friendly and helpful and the park was beautiful. It certainly lived up to our expectations. The golf course is great and priced very reasonably. Our only complaint was that the park guests was not very «family friendly». I don’t know that this is the fault of the staff (who were great) but more of the clientele that were there (primarily snowbirds). They seemed to be annoyed when we arrived at the pool and some of the guests were downright rude. In talking to the one other family that was there with children our ages — they felt the same way. Also, the 9:00 p.m. quiet time is a bit early when you are there on vacation. Again, we have nothing but great things to stay about the park and the staff but would be wary of visiting there when the snowbirds are still «roosting».

I was looking for a place to take my grandchildren for two nights within a few ours of Orange County. This place looked perfect, great hiking nearby, swimming pool, fish pond, golf course. Trouble is I don’t have an RV! They rent them all set up. We had a two bedroom park model for $ 200 per night. It was perfect. A big loft with television for the girls. Two bedrooms, kitchen/​living area and a new bar-​b-​que, picnic table, and even 4 patio chairs. This is glamping at it’s best. There is a very well stocked store in the village so we really did not need to bring much, just went shopping when we arrived. The park is spotless and the people go out of their way to help and give advice on hiking, site seeing, restaurants, etc.

We had to change our plans due to weather and so found The Springs on line. The reviews were good, so we decided to check it out for one night. We ended up staying 3 nights! I don’t usually give 5 stars but honestly, this place is amazing. Beautiful grounds, pool, spa, fitness, and clubhouse are extremely nice. Everything looks new and is well-​designed, nice décor. There is a sweet 9-​hole course that you can play twice, or split up over two days, which is what we did. There are citrus trees all over the park, virtually in each site — oranges, Myer lemons, grapefruit and you’re free to pick them. I made a grapefruit wine cooler! When you go in to town (it’s a little far up walk, but doable-​easy bike ride, which they rent there at the place), go to Carlee’s for some food or to just hang at the bar. Definitely recommend!

2 words… CUSTOMER SERVICE. I can’t even begin to describe how wonderful everyone that we had contact with are. From the person answering the phone to the incredible camp hosts… WOW…you guys really know how to do it. Of course the resort itself is spectacular as all the other reviews indicate. Everything you could want. So clean and well maintained. Great amenities but really the people really make the place. You feel like family from the time you pull in. This must be a great place to work because it really show with the employees. Disneyland step aside… this is the happiest place on earth.

We have been here several times and always had great experiences with the park facilities and staff. It is a nice balance between a deluxe park with beautiful new facilities and a small town, family operation. Salt water pool and mineral spas are my favorite after a round of golf. They offer a number of fun get togethers like wine tastings and star-​gazing. On one trip we asked them if there was a taxi that could take us to a local restaurant and they handed us the keys to the resort van for us to use at no cost. We have recommended to several friends and all have enjoyed.

I must qualify my review by saying that the rig in which my boyfriend and I tour the country is not strictly for recreational purposes. We have a coach bus with a trailer (total length is approx. 60′) which he has converted into a vinyl-​wrapped and branded mobile home/​office of sorts to launch his nonprofit start up. So we get a lot of looks no matter where we go.
That said we probably had the best experience we could have had given our unconventional RV. The check-​in staff and pro-​shop attendant were all extremely nice and accommodating. My boyfriend and I drove down in a car and our bus and the two other staff members were an hour or two behind us. Our «camp host» escorted us to our site, a little confused that we weren’t in an RV but we told her it was on its way though this didn’t really confuse her any less. Yes, we stuck out like a sore thumb because we are quite a few years younger than the typical Springs at Borrego RVer. But we’re a rig on the same chassis as plenty of the other RVs on site so it seems we should be treated the same.
As I mentioned before there are «camp hosts» who live there for free and are there to help I suppose. Really that’s my only complaint about the park is that the camp hosts all had a passive aggressive way of enforcing rules that we didn’t know we were breaking (e.g. we had a glass bottle of Perrier in the pool area, we pulled out of our spot too far so we could reach the water hose, our dogs had to be leashed on our site). I guess that’s what it takes to keep a nice establishment looking nice but I just wish they’d been more nice about enforcing rules :)
I’m well aware that since we’re not the typical RVers our experience was a little off. BUT If you’re the average RVer, I would strongly recommend this park a thousand times over. It’s gorgeous and it has plenty of extraordinary amenities.

This place was great. Definitely an RVer’s paradise. The crowd here is older so if you’re looking for late night campfires, this isn’t the place for you.
The bathrooms and facilities are well maintained and clean. My only complaint is this isn’t a «camping» RV site. It’s more of a trailer park or tailgaiting atomesphere. The sites are so close to each other, you can hear your neighbor’s conversation. There’s no grass but you get a picnic table and a couple of bushes. Everyone was friendly. The older RVers were very helpful in hooking us up with RV Clubs in our area. There are bike paths and a pool and awesome, sweeping vistas.
My husband said the golfing was good but plan on coming here to relax, not camp.
