I swore that I would only shop local to support business around here. I’ve bought two different guitars from The String Shop, starting with my first electric guitar I ever had, a cab, two amps, and countless strings and picks. Great service. Then one day I go in to buy the Line 6PODHD500. They sell me the floor model for sticker price(wouldn’t go any lower on the floor model, but that was still okay). The next day, Line 6 dropped their PODHD500 X series. I called the String Shop the following Monday to see if I could return the pedal so that I could buy the updated version. Line 6 dropped the price on the HD500BY $ 100 and sold the new one for the price I paid for the 500. They quickly informed me that I could not do a return because they only have a 4 day return policy(and the 4th day for my return was Sunday, and they’re not open on Sundays). I explained to them the situation and yet they still refused to help. Forever shopping at Guitar Center because they have a 30 day return policy, their prices are cheaper, and they are more willing to help their customers. When a major corporation rolls into town, you would think that local business’ would accommodate their customers… The String Shop thought differently.

Place rating: 5 Bossier City, LA
This place is a little difficult to find/see from the road, if it’s your first visit, but once you find it, then of course you’ll always know where it is. It doesn’t really look like much from the outside, but the store is clean and organized on the inside. They have a larger than expected inventory, and the staff is very friendly. They treat you with the same respect whether you are purchasing guitar picks or an actual guitar. They always have what I am looking for, and I will continue to shop here as long as I’m living here in Bossier.
