Dr. Jane Davenport Lucas is hands down the best PT in Boston! She is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. She helped me heal a shoulder injury and a year later a hip/​lower back injury. Her methods are hands-​on and get you back to normal in a quick and painless fashion. I recommend her a million times!

I have been treated by Back Bay Physical Therapy periodically for chronic conditions since 1998. I greatly appreciate that Back Bay Physical Therapy is a solo practice. While I am impressed with Jane’s credentials and accomplishments, that isn’t what keeps me returning to this practice. Jane offers a compassionate ear to the needs of her patients and creates treatment plans that patients can realistically comply with. While addressing long term goals she also provides short term relief with treatments such as massage and ultra-​sound. I have been treated at large group practices in the past and found them lacking in this personal approach. I highly recommend Back Bay Physical Therapy.

I so enjoyed my experience at Back Bay Physical Therapy 6 years ago, that I returned a few months ago for a totally unrelated injury. Jane is a highly skilled physical therapist, but she also knows each of her patients personally and creates exercise plans to fit each individual’s lifestyle. With my most recent injury, I felt immediately relief from my shoulder impingement after my very first visit.
I highly recommend Back Bay Physical Therapy for anyone looking for a convenient, personal, effective physical therapy option.
