Blue Moon Smoke Shop

Came in for a vaporizer. Though they did not have the one I originally wanted, I am extremely happy with my Pax 2 purchase. Nick was extremely knowledgeable and helped me make the right purchase. He was very friendly and knew about every product in the store. Highly recommended.

I was originally making my way to Sugar Daddies (which is just upstairs) when I noticed this store and decided to pop in.
I was needing to replace my daily driver and didn’t want to spend too much, but knew exactly what I wanted and what I was keeping my eyes out for. Blue Moon definitely delivered and kept my eyes open the entire time! The selection is huge and I was like a kid in a candy shop!
The guys there are great, funny and love talking about the different options that could suit your needs.
I collect glass and boy was I tempted on many different awesome pieces that they have.
The selection there is awesome — from inexpensive all the way up to the heady/​artsy pieces! Regardless of what you are looking for, you will find it and be able to fit your style with your budget!
I got a sweet inline recycler for half of what I had been looking at online and before I could even begin the wheeling/​dealing about the price they had already discounted it and thrown some goodies into the mix!
I will definitely be returning when my glass «peace» fund has more room in it!

This place was awesome! went here to find a nail for my rig (didn’t even know what that was) the dude showed me all my options and showed me exactly how to do it. he’s been toking for years. It was a great experience and I will be going back soon (bc I bought the wrong size hehe) ¹⁰⁄₁₀

i wish i could give no stars to this shitty store. Screwed me over twice. Once with a hookah that didn’t work one hour after I bought it, and the store wouldn’t let me return it or even tried to help me fix it. Second time with a electronic cigarett, one week after i bought it, the battery couldn’t get charged. It shows the batteries were charged but the device just keeps saying low battery. Well my fault that i wanted to give them a second chance. They don’t give a shit about how customers think.

I buy anyhting smoke related here. My one and only choice for glass. Prices and selection are amazing and not that hard to get to.

Blue Moon Smoke Shop had a vast variety of the top of the line products. The owner and employees are very helpful and hands on, and are always willing to meet the customers needs and wants. Great shop, would recommend it to friends.

Great shop with a wide selection of glass. Huge markup compared to online prices, but that’s normal for any headshop. Still very nice, and you they are willing to negotiate which is always a nice thing.
Definitely check it out! Awesome shop!

I can only tell you my experience. I walked in and was greeted by the man behind the counter and told him of my concerns and why I was going to be buying what I wanted. He was VERY informative, NOT pushy and educated me about the different appliances, why he liked some better than others, told me he used the PAX and loved it. He had lots of patience with me since I am a newbee and needed some help to know what I was really looking for to do what I needed it to do. I never felt he was condescending, and he really did not push me to buy and I actually told him I think that I was buying that day but wanted to see what I was looking at price wise etc and he told me «no problem, this is why I am here.» He seemed to enjoy his job, not sure if he was an employee or was the owner, he was great. The store looked like it was well stocked but I do not know about quality glass vs imported glass so no comment there. Looked like they had all kinds of products being that I have never been in a Head Shop before except in Ptown in the back of a teeshirt shop. I was feeling really nervous going in since I am totally ignorant of this stuff and went out feeling better about what I need and how to do it etc. Best of all he did not make me feel like a blundering fool. I will return to buy what I need to Vape dry herb and tincture and maybe the stuff that looks like toffee but do not know the name for. I learned that there are some things that will Vape them all but also that best is buy separate maybe to do each since different temperatures are needed for dry vs wet materials. Again, the man behind the counter did not make me feel pushed to buy.
I do not work for or even know any of the characters in any of these stores and have not gone to another store such as this to compare it to really but felt happy with my visit.

Great place as far selection. Looked a bit pricey but they did throw me an extra nail that was 30 $. But, only after taking back the 35 $ domeless … I like my piece.

I wanted a clear bubbler, I got a nice clear recycler bubbler here. Another time I wanted a Pax, got one from here. Both were at fair price points.

The owner is nice enough anda knowledgeable but thats about as far as it goes here. Bought a mini bubbler and an atmos jr. The glass going from the top of the piece into the water broke off inside somehow. The Atmos he coached me on and was glad he put me in that direction, but not even a day after use the coil went out. Went back he had coils for 45 gave me a ‘deal’ at 30 only later to find out u can get them at other shops for 15 and online for 12. If he really wanted to get a good word out about his place and have me as a repeat cust he would have at the 10 bux and gave me a free coil. Live and learn, but this place is in an area where rent is expensive which in turn makes the items expensive.

They have a great selection (love the new fresh tech Hitman glass!!) and friendly, knowledgeable staff. I have visited many smoke shops in Boston and this is by far the friendliest. Other shops’ staff have been very rude to me for asking questions. At Blue Moon, they will spend as much time as needed answering all of your questions without making you feel like you’re having a top secret conversation. 5 stars !

I don’t know what people are saying about this place but it’s not true! I stumbled upon this shop late one night with no cash in my pocket but instead got to talking to the owner after browsing over reasonably-​priced and beautiful unique pieces. I looked at a few and the quality was not cheap, it was heavy and well crafted. The owner told me he has two other stores in California and has his own glass blowers, that’s right, you aren’t going to find «local» artists here, so if there seriously matters to you that much, go to some other overpriced shop. They are NOT shipped in from other countries, if you had spoken to the owner, you would have known this. Don’t make assumptions.
Either way I told the man I would be back the next day with friends, and I came back, with friends. I ended up purchasing a very cool piece and got a great deal on it, he threw in a carrying bag (padded, amazing) for free. In fact, I even told him that I didn’t have the cash, and he told me he trusted me because I came back, and I could bring him the rest the next day. What service! He was actually so happy I brought my friends, who were equally as excited about the prospects of well-​priced glass, that he gave my friend a one-​hitter piece as we were leaving as a token of gratitude.
Since then, my friends have made this their go-​to store. I Can’t believe people are saying such negative things without trying the product.
Great selection, reasonable prices, some very pretty hookahs. Its kind of quiet in the store, no music. Weird. But they do well e-​hookahs, something hard to come across.

My first review was filtered out so here goes how awsome this place is after my second visit and I got a aswome deal on hooka tabacco

A friend of mine told me about this new smoke shop opening (he had nothing positive to say about it) but as it’s on my way home from work I decided to stop by. I’ve been going to smoke shops for many years, my (high school) ex-boyfriend’s parents even owned a smoke shop so needless to say I know quality.
What a terrible selection! They don’t carry any local artists. The glass they have are cheap knockoffs shipped in from other countries.
The jewelry they have is the crap you find at tourist shops around Hampton Beach. They do have belly button rings with marijuana leaves! — How fantastically TRASHY. (Ladies & Gents, I hope you’re not really into that sort of thing)
To top it all off the guy working decided to follow me (very closely) around the entire store. Not sure if he thought I was going to be shop lifting or if he was just a creep but either way it was awkward and weird.
There are way better smoke shops in Boston, one being right next door!

Yea this place isn’t that great. Cheap shit. Not what I was looking for. Can’t comment on the service, I didn’t stay very long.

So before I say anything about my experience at Blue Moon, I have to point out that the first review here was clearly written by someone who works there. I have seen all the things they sell there, and after talking to the «knowledgeable staff», I can safely say they have no idea whats going on. I asked what size accessories one of the pieces took, and he looked at me like I had 5 heads. I just said never mind.
On top of that, all the bongs I saw were off brands I’d never heard of. The small pipes are cheap, but when you look at them up close they definitely look sloppy and poorly made. I also asked if they carry local artists, and they said no.
There was also this guy with slicked back hair and obnoxious yellow, «420» T-​shirt that kept following me step-​for-​step down the case and not talking to me like I was trying to steal something. It was kind of weird.
If you like cheaply made everything and being treated like a shoplifter, this is the place!
