Bubbles Car Wash

I paid $ 45 for the mini Detail. I went in and the guy backed my 2014 s550 into another car and tried to tell me that they didn’t when I was standing right there and saw the car in front of me bounce back. I would not recommend this place regardless of the poor quality work. If you have a nice car do not bring it here. They care about the quantity of cars they do not the quality of work they provide.

I like Bubbles. I like the fact that they employ young people for one thing. We don’t have enough job creators in our area for anyone without a college degree.
My only issue with Bubbles, as been stated here, is the hours. I have the monthly membership and it pays for itself with two washes, so I can’t really complain. But, sometimes I want a wash after work if the car was blessed by a bird or with all this extra pollen or snow, but I can only make it on the weekend. Driving the most beautiful car in the city, I have a reputation to uphold and sometimes it gets marred with grime. Just sayin’.
The rest is all good. The prices are reasonable and the staff does the best job they can. Look people, it is our only choice in the city, so watch what you ask for. And with property values being as high as they are, we are lucky this has been around as long as it has because someone is going to decide they want a luxury condo next to the prison, rationalizing that we can make due with one of the many boutique car washes that have sprawled up in the private garages where you have to pay for the parking and the car wash.
Bubbles is a good deal.

The staff is nice and helpful. The price is good and even on crowded days it’s an efficient experience. Plus, it’s kind of entertaining. It can be hard to use the vacuum though, as one was broken and parking is tight.

I took my car here for a badly needed winter wash after reading reviews on Unilocal.As others have mentioned, there is definitely a lack of car washes in Boston. I did the Single Bubble Wash and was very happy with how my clean my car came out. The car was covered in salt and filth when it entered the car wash, and it came out clean as a whistle! The Single Bubble Wash is $ 8 and then I tipped the guys drying the car $ 2 (it was freezing outside). I would definitely recommend this car wash.

Two stars on Unilocal equate to a «Meh. I’ve experienced better» and that is how I feel about Bubbles Car Wash. It is just okay. I would have given it a one star rating but it is a really good price.
My car got egged by some frat boys at the apartment I live at. I was looking for a place to wash my car, fast and cheap. Unilocal gave me this spot so I gave it a try. The workers there were less than friendly and not very helpful at all. All of the egg didn’t come off. I was not very impressed by this place. I bought the triple bubble and I am positive I did not get everything I was supposed to get. The car was not even cleaned very well. During the wash, it seemed like some spots were not getting cleaned and it showed because some spots were clearly uncleaned.
On top of that, according to their website, a triple bubble includes:

Wheel Brightener
Undercarriage with Rust Inhibitor
Triple Foam Polish
Double Teflon Protection
Tire Shine
I did not get a tire shine, wheel brightener nor did I get the double teflon protection but I definitely paid for one. If I did, it was not very apparent. My tires looked just as dirty as they did when I came into the car wash. I’m not really sure what the difference is between the single, double and triple bubble because everyone goes through the same car wash anyway.
I can’t say I see myself returning to this place in the future.

This review is sadly overdue.
Once upon a time a naïve young woman put an old car battery on the passenger side floor of her car.
The battery leaked. It leaked for a week. The acid was a real jerk. It ate, among other things*, a hole through the carpet of the floor. Concerned that the jerky acid was also going to eat through the floor of her car, the sad, sad woman used baking soda and water to scrub the rug twice and then took it to the car wash to deep clean it.
The owner of the car wash asked what she needed. She explained that the dealership would only help her remove the rug if she cleaned it herself. The owner thought for a moment and returned with two pairs of gloves and a heavy knife. He got on his hands and knees and helped the woman cut all around the patch of rug that was damaged. It was hard, sweaty work, complicated by how much water and baking soda was everywhere. When the rug was gone, he helped her clean the bare metal with the baking soda paste to make sure the acid was neutralized.
The girl asked the owner hwo much she owed him for his help. The owner said «nothing,» and smiled. Then he picked up all the pieces of baking soda coated rug and put them in a bag.
The girl drove down the street and bought a sample of carpet for $ 1 from the carpet place and laid it over the metal. And from that day on she got all her washing and detailing done at Bubbles because it is a fantastic local business run by a geuninely good and kind person.

I asked if they can clean the mat like the pictures shown, but they say they can’t. Carwash couldn’t give you the squeaky clean. I would prefer washing it myself because in the end there’s still soap left over.

This is the first time I went in to wash my car here. I was greeted by the man who was taking in the payment, I gave $ 15 and said I wanted the double boubles ($ 14). Then he asked, «You want the triple bubbles?» Then he chuckled, and I said no I just want the double bubbles and laughed. Then he said «you’re all set» and so I wondered, where is my dollar back? I proceeded to ask him if he didnt have change, and he said something that I couldn’t quite hear and was going to walk to the next car. Then I asked him kindly «I thought it was $ 14?» He then said finally that he was giving me the triple bubbles for $ 15. I felt like he was trying to rip me off a dollar. Honestly I don’t know if I got the double or triple. My tires still look dirty so I dont think I got the triple which had the extra tire shine and wheel brightener unlike the double bubbles. Can someone tell me what do they write on your car when you paid to get the single, double, and/​or triple bubbles to tell the guy who operates the wash what type of wash you bought?
On the actual wash itself, depending on whether I got double or triple, my car was still dirty on the lower/​bottom part of the car especially the vents area in the front and the license plates area in the front and rear. So if they couldnt even do that, then how were they supposed to do the undercarriage which my car was supposed to get done? I don’t know if this is typical, but I also got a lot of the soap stuff trailing down my mirrors onto my car so it left long streaks of soap, looked ugly. During the wipe down at the end, I had three people wiping my car, I thought they didn’t do a good job for three people, especially the guy doing my right side, still had a lot of soap on the window, and they were talking to each other while wiping my car, maybe that is why.
In conclusion, I think it would be a place where you expect to have to clean your car again yourself. It doesnt clean the bottom/​lower parts of your car and the front (near vents) and back (license plate) well. Also, I think I got cheated, I’m even possibly thinking maybe they only gave me the standard single wash ($ 8) or it is just simply a bad wash to make me think that.
P. S. the guy who sprays the stuff at the beginning, didn’t push in my mirrors, even though there was a sign that said to push in mirrors and that they aren’t responsible for any damage done. Am I supposed to do that myself and reach over the passenger side and get the window down and pull the mirror in and close the window again? I have been to other car washes where they do it for you.

Very good service. Attentive to detail. Exterior treatment earned a solid 4 starts, with no spotting and a nice shine.
What really stood out was the amazing work on the inside. All windows, right down to the hard-​to-​reach corner adjacent to the dashboard, are clean and streak-​free. The dash itself and all door surfaces saw years’ old removed and luster restored.
In short, this 14-​year-​old car looks clean, smells fresh, and provides a safer driving experience.

RUINED MY PAINT JOB
I came in here for a basic wash to get rid of the salt and snow residue. At some point there must have been some leaky pipe for the rust inhibitor or other strong corrosive, it ate straight through the paint down to the bare metal in two spots. The car is only a few months old, I’ve never seen anything like this before. Their response «I’ve never heard of that happening before.»

I haven’t had to use a carwash in ten years because I haven’t owned a car for 7, and the other 3, I lived somewhere where I could wash my own. So I am not gonna lie, this was a little stressful.
I didn’t know if this was the type where you get out of your car and wait inside while it works its magic. It is the kind you stay inside. That’s good, because then I didn’t have to unbuckle my dog and wait in the 95% heat with him.
For $ 15, the Triple Bubble, I’m happy. The guy helped me get over my car wash angst without being judgmental.

We were egged overnight and my boyfriend was upset over the damage to the paint. We rushed to the nearest car wash– bubbles. They saw the egg and offered a discount of their premium wash. The manager saw that the egg had not come out entirely and waved us through again for a hand wash that he did himself. We appreciated their attention to detail at a very reasonable price. Crisis over.

Had a great car wash today after having my tires changed out. Getting my ride all set for the spring and summer. They did a good job. It was pretty affordable and no streaks after they hand dried the car. good value.

Standard price — $ 8 for a standard car wash.
Standard car wash. Bonus is the towel dry at the end to get rid of any streaks.
Very crowded on weekends and you may end up in line on the street. But they keep it moving. And you can entertain yourself with the crazy changing slogans on their sign like ‘Tom Brady gets his car washed here.’ (PS– I doubt that’s true.)

Thanks to the torrential downpour of last weekend my baby was a mess from all the leaves and bird poop that fell from the tree I parked under. I could barely see through my windshield it was so bad. More importantly I can’t have my baby looking a hot mess on the streets, that’s just not respectful.
This is the closest car wash to my apartment so I beelined it here. I only did the single bubble for $ 8, just a run through the carwash and towel dry. The overall washing experience was kinda scary, are car washes suppose to be that violent? Large brushes and foam pads come at you from all directions while you sit helpless on a conveyor belt. I would be careful if you have an antennae or anything sticking out, it can easily be ripped right off. At the end of the conveyor belt there is a powerful airdry system, like driving through a large hairdryer. You round the corner and someone towel dries your car.
Overall I thought the machine wash experience was pretty violent. I wouldn’t recommend doing this every day but once in a while to remove bird poop is fine. I had no other options that day since my whole car was covered but otherwise I always prefer the handwash method. I’m sure if you kept this up it will take a toll on your paint job.

I bought subaru outback sport 2002 last week. There were food particles all over the car. There was smell probably due to fungus on seats and mats. I have left my car for detailing now.
Employee there explained that they will be shampooing my seats carpet, mat and celling for 130 dollars.
I will write the next part after i receive my car back.

The location is super convenient for us so that is a plus, but seriously, this paying $ 14 – 15 for an exterior-​only wash is just so BS. Plus, the drying is like they blow off some of the water with compressed air and some dude runs a towel over the hood and doors — doesn’t even really get the grime off of the windows.
I’m seriously not impressed with the East Coast car wash industry — but fine, I guess it is what it is.
I’m also just not impressed with Bubbles, their normal Triple Bubble is $ 18 but they had a special for $ 15, I took it but am not sure what the difference btwn this and the Double Bubble is and feel gypped — i mean, what’s «rust inhibitor»? Isn’t washing the undercarriage inhibiting rust… I hate false advertising or just dumb advertising.
Plus, their detailing services DO NOT include a wash… (seriously??) whatever.
But they do have an undercarriage wash which is what I really wanted to get the salt off and the wash did it.

Fairly good carwash that gets crowded on the weekends or when it gets really warm and sunny out. They do an awesome detail but be sure to check their website for deals. You can hang out on site when they do the detail and they will give you access to the wifi so be sure to bring your laptop or tablet.
Not worth the $ 18 wash though — $ 8 all the way and be sure to give your hand dry folks a tip!

I also bought the Groupon coupon offer for 3 car washes. We used them up in the fall time pretty quickly. The Groupon was for a basic car wash, nothing special. That’s exactly what we got. It did what it needed to do. Cleaned off the friggn’ bird poop we constantly get on top of our car from the lovely birds in our neighborhood.
This place can get packed. expect to wait a bit on a Saturday morning.

I would have to agree with the majority of the Unilocalers — the hours are inconvenient, closing at 6pm makes it impossible to get there on a week night. I usually go early on a Saturday or Sunday and there is a minimal line. My Jeep is still a little wet when I leave, but its still easier and faster than doing it myself.
The staff is always friendly and fun. In response to some of the other reviews, they have always answered the phone when I have called to see if they are open.
These guys are a regular on Groupon, so watch for deals.
