The food is really good and the price is right. The sesame Chicken is delicious and so is the Lo mein.
The delivery service was fast and courteous. Really impressed by the food. Just need an online menu.

I’ve been searching for the best Chinese Delivery in Dorchester. I’ve ordered from many places off Foodler and although some were Good… there hasn’t been that one that made a huge lasting impression… UNTIL NOW!
They aren’t on Foodler, I actually found them through Unilocal when searching for Best Delivery. They have such great reviews, I had to give them a chance. So, I ordered 2 combination plates for myself & my mother. 1) Beef w/​Broccoli, Shrimp Fried Rice, & Chicken Wings, AND 2) General Gau’s Chicken, Pork Fried Rice, & Boneless Spare Ribs. So… the food is SOOOO filling and good! The rice was cooked perfectly and very flavorful. The Beef & Broccoli was amazing. The beef was very tender, i finished it all! Broccoli wasn’t hard to eat and wasn’t too mushy either. As I’m writing this review, my mouth is watering thinking about the food last night.
I took away one star because when I ordered, they told me delivery time is between 30 – 40 minutes and it took almost an hour to come. I mean, it was the first time I ordered from there, and it’s winter, I’m giving them a free pass for that. This place is my GO TO chinese delivery place from now on! If you haven’t tried it, please do! It is THAT good!

I say this with the greatest possible respect –
Every now and then one craves, cheap, greasy junk food. And China Station delivers in spades.
Don’t be freaked if you call in to place an order and someone answers in Chinese. Everyone I’ve spoken to there has pretty good English, and in case of someone having allergies on one order, they were able to accommodate.
Also don’t be freaked if you walk in and think you’ve stepped into a deserted shop front. There is a single small table for people waiting on orders in what could otherwise be a sizable dining room.
I’ve been here about half a dozen times, now, and have tried the general Gau’s chicken, pork fried rice, char-​siu pork strips, crab rangoons, dumplings, and spring rolls. The only thing I haven’t absolutely loved is the spring rolls — to me, they’re too vinegary, and only have cabbage and a tiny bit of carrot in them. I’d rather have my spring rolls with some glass noodles and mushroom, too. I was hoping that the first time I got them maybe someone just forgot a few ingredients in the dinner rush, but this doesn’t seem to be the case.
I live right down the street, but even on days when I’m too exhausted or too lazy to walk
around the corner and up the block, a pleasant gentleman is willing to deliver my food to me. I don’t think there’s a delivery charge, but don’t quote me on that.
The price is right, too — $ 7-​$ 9 gets you a very generous quantity of food; one combo dinner serves me for about two meals, and I am someone affectionately referred to as a ‘bottomless pit.’ Definitely beats Oriental House on the next block.

I have concluded that a Unilocal review is relative to the location of the reviewer (which is typically proximate to the place being reviewed. Being new to Dorchester, and knowing several great Vietnamese restaurants, I foolishly believed that good chinese could be had here as well.
HA! If this is the best Dorchester has to offer, I will take the red line down to china town, and suggest te other reviewers do the same to learn about good chinese food.

This place was great!
The delivery was timely and the food arrived nice and hot!
You can tell this place prepares their food to order and it tastes delicious.

My occasional craving for Chinese take outs finally kicked in again, so I opened my Unilocal app to see what other take outs place near by that I haven’t tried yet and seen China Station is like a few blocks away!
Anywho, I decided to place an order for delivery. The lady over the phone sounded nice and thorough. I’m glad her English was easy to understand though she was speaking pretty fast lol. I ordered the combination plates of general gaus, pork fried rice and boneless spareribs: I didn’t really like the General gaus, it tasted more like a sweet n sour chicken with a hint of spice. For appetizers I ordered medium chicken wings; which was definitely not your typical «dark «wings that you get from most Chinese take outs. It was rather lightly fried with a crunch. It was pretty good and wasn’t salty at all. I also ordered Crab Rangoons; when I opened the box; it didn’t have that nice yellow to it. It was really light in color. Almost as if they didn’t fry it long enough. But to my surprise, that was also delicious ! I also ordered a small fried plaintains and it was nice and soft; sprinkled with salt. My husband said it tasted like nothing, but to me; it tasted really good and goes so well with my combination plate!

Food was just okay. Definitely not the best Chinese around. Would consider ordering again, maybe I just ordered on a bad night

Best Chinese Food In Dorchester!
I came across China Station on Unilocal while browsing for a late night meal. The menu was affordable and appealing to try. I called in for a delivery order and I was told it would be about 30 minutes ended up being 20. The food came hot and delicious.
I ended up trying China Station numerous more times for pickup. You can get a full dinner meal for under $ 10 here. I usually get the #8 combo that comes with chicken fingers, crab rangoon, boneless ribs and pork fried rice. It’s really more than enough for a single person and the food quality has been consistent for months.
The house tea here is like crack. I believe it is $ 1 for it. Totally worth trying!
The employees here have always been nice to me and I appreciate the kindness they have shown me over the past couple of months coming by here to grab food.

The food was awesome, everything was fresh, and fast delivery. Plate was $ 15 though

We called to place an order at 9:57. By 11:11 we called again as our food had not arrived (we live 5 minutes away). At 11:22, we receive a call claiming to be outside, then several minutes later another call saying that was the wrong delivery, it will be 5 more minutes. 11:32 food finally arrives. Long story short? 1 hr 35 minutes for delivery.
As for the food– Unsurprisingly, all the food was cold when it arrived. The crab rangoon was also slightly undercooked, the flavor was bland. As for the beef teriyaki, I can’t even give specifics because it looked so unappetizing my fiancé couldn’t even bring himself to try it, nor did he want to discuss it.
Never again.

Im so in love with the food from this place!!! I usually get shanghai noodles, but i decides to try a couple of new things today. The soup is so yummy and the eggrolls are always amazing. There doesn’t seem to be any meat in them, but they’re huge and delicious either way! I tried a new chicken a little spicy but i still love it! The beef teriyaki is also pretty amazing. I could go on and on, but i suggest you try for yourself! I hope my review helps out! Enjoy!

I always had a Christmas Eve tradition of Chinese food and was craving it hard core. Living near Fields Corner, there is certainly no shortage of options for authentic Asian. But sometimes you just need to satisfy the appetite for ‘American’ Chinese food. You know, the stuff that you’d never find in a true Chinese menu, fried deliciousness like chicken fingers, ‘crab’ Rangoon (cream cheese filling) and scallion pancakes for appetizers, finished with a combination plate of Kung Pao chicken and pork fried rice. It was exactly what I wanted, and definitely filled the void. The guy said it would be 40 minutes, and true to Chinese delivery form it was at my door in about 15. How the hell do they do that anyway? Must be hiring ninjas or something. Nothing special, but I’ll definitely be going back when my gut is crying for it

Had bad teriyaki from this restaurant on 22Dec14 left my whole family with stomach flu. Not enough toilets a b day buckets to go around.

This review is solely based on the horrible spring rolls they serve overstuffed with raw cabbage while the outside soggy and greasy. Then the lady was upset that I didn’t like them saying its not an egg roll. Exactly that’s why I ordered a spring roll cause i didn’t want the pork heavier wrapper. The spring roll would have given them 2 stars since it wouldn’t kill me but her attitude after the fact warrants 1 star.
I may give them another chance, so stay tuned.

Living around here, it can be difficult to find good «American style» Chinese food. There’s tons of great authentic Asian cuisine, but when you want real Chinese fast food it can be difficult if you don’t know where to go. This is hands down the best in the area.
Friendly staff, quick delivery, and the food is always cooked to perfection. The General Gau’s is awesome. They don’t try and over-​do it with orange peels or whole chiles, just very flavorful sauce with small pieces of chiles mixed in. The rice is moist and flavorful, as are the spare ribs. The crab rangoon are also very good, sometimes they aren’t as crispy as I’d like, but they do have crab in them, not just cream cheese like a lot of places are going to nowadays to save a buck.
If these guys upload a menu online and create a website, their business will explode!
