Staying at the Hilton and had already returned our rental car so dinner options were limited. We decided to try out the restaurant. The interior was very nice with an upscale pub like feel. Good size bar with low tables and high booths throughout as well as a center bar for mingling. Service was fast and food was hot. We had the pub burger with chips and Cuban Rueben with fries. Both came with dill pickles and condiments on the side. Food was seasoned really well but not too much. I asked for thousand island dressing on the side as my Rueben was delicious but I like dressing heavy on this sandwich. The sandwich was huge and could easily be shared. For a hotel restaurant the food was very good and the usual high price associated with the convenience.

I should have read the reviews first, my mistake. Service was horrible, and supervisors don’t bother to make eye contact so you can say something to them. Food was mediocre at best. When ordering, I asked to have my appetizer first, and then my salad. Both items were delivered to the table at the same time. When I asked to not have them both, the response was«well, it’s just going to sit there on the line, so better to leave it here» then she waked away! So annoyed I left most of my salad. I won’t be going back!

Arrivals and Departures. I get it. I’m at a travel hotel on airport property. I’m not expecting Chik-Fil-A service. This place’s wait staff was about as stale as our fries and attitude as bland as this travesty they labeled as «Clam Chowder.» Food service is as simple as that: Food + Service. Sometimes, you can’t have both but one must always balance out the other. Clearly, the owner and managers must have fallen off the teeter totter. My only joy is to return to my room and watch planes fly away along with my dreams of a final good meal in Bean Town.

Poor service. Food was not worth the price you paid for. I did not even bother to take home the leftover.

This bar and hotel suck!!! Bartender was rude! He didn’t seem to want to serve me. Ordered a burger and it was ready in 2 minutes. The hotel says the bar stays open till 1am, but cannot get a drink after 12:30am. Would not recommend this bar.

To be honest after reading all the negative reviews we were hesitant to eat there. We were VERY pleasantly surprised! The service was excellent, the food was very good and the drinks were generous! There isn’t much around the hotel and you can’t get into the airport food courts without a boarding pass. After a long day we decided to go try Connolly’s. I would definitely recommend it!

A bit pricier & slower service than what I’m used to, but the food was decent & comforting(especially the apple pie!) so both my mind & stomach are happy. Given that Connoly’s is technically in the airport, or at least the edge of it, this place possesses more of a restaurant feel than many other airport restaurants. It has booths, dark oak looking tables & long bar separated by a median. I’ve come here a couple times now & can confidently say the patrons are older & established couples, and specks of 30 something’s on a business trip. The clam chowder(or chowdah in Bostonian) was creamy with the right thickness & is home made with fresh clams. There were not too many or little clams. I added the basic crackers because that crunch being mixed with chewy/soft bites of potato & clam are half the enjoyment I can’t say no to. It’s really quite simple clam chowder, so I would give it a 4.5 for no mistakes. My shrimp & avocado appetizer was small, 2 bigger shrimps with unique cocktail sauce & a few slices of avocado. I was still hungry, but I saved myself for the grand finale — dessert. I had the best deep apple pie with cinnamon gelato. I can return just for this if I were ever in town again. The crumbs actually had solid fried crunchies per bite & the pie’s thickness ratio with the apples inside were awesome. Probably 1:10 pie — I don’t like thick pies cause you taste less sweetness. The cinnamon gelato matched the slight brown cinnamon colored inside of the pie really well, but was not overbearing at all. If you appreciate good apple pie, this is a super solid homey for it. And now I’m full & need some Zs to process all this! P. S. The service didn’t mind my first visit when I had a female waitress but the second time I had a larger male who took his time. He was attentive with the iced tea, but did not come by often or in short spurts around the time of ordering or finishing up.

This place is your standard hotel restaurant. The convenience of being in the Hilton is the only good thing about it. It’s seat yourself so I did. It took 5 minutes to even be acknowledged. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich thinking that it would be hard to mess up. I was wrong. The roll was dry, what meat there was was very fatty and tasteless. As mentioned in other posts, this place is expensive. If you can, avoid this place unless you have to get something quick. My server was nice and did a good job.

I have come to Boston several times and stay at the Hilton Logan Airport. This will be my last time. I can no longer tolerate the horrible service at Connolly’s restaurant. Today I came in at about 3 pm for a late lunch after a flight(Hotel has no room service at this hour) and waited at my table for over 10 minutes without a greeting. Finally I asked the bar tender who was engaged in a spirited conversation with the only two other patrons on the restaurant, if they were open. To which he replied yes! Then went back to the conversations. About 5 minutes later a large waiter with a Russian accent comes out and takes my order. If this was the only time I had bad service in this restaurant, I would chalk it up as a one time miss, but of the three times I have been here it’s always the same terrible service. Come on Hilton you can do better. This restaurant is costing you business. Maybe since you are so close to the airport it does not matter. But it stains your brand

My issue with this place isn’t the food. My issue lies with the price. I had a delicious salmon sandwich here as well as a really good French Dip. I paid more for my French dip at Connelly’s than I did for a French dip at Kitty’s in Nantucket. Just stop and take that in. I paid MORE for something that would be overpriced in nickel-and-dime-you Nantucket. So my problem is how much it costs to eat here, like Disney world expensive. Decent food is the only thing saving it.

This place had the worst service for a Saturday afternoon. I realize that it’s a airport hotel restaurant. But there were at least 15 tables including a large party and only ONE Waitress. The guy from the bar came out to help and completely ignored us and favored a table that had come in about 10 minutes after us. When trying to get his attention he totally ignored us and then finally said the waitress would help us. 5 minutes later she finally came over to take our order. Food was mediocre for the price. Makes me glad we ordered pizza the night before instead of frequenting this place twice.

I love Connolly’s! Their clam chowder(chowdah), lobster roll, and portobello turkey burger are my recommendations. And you HAVE to get their potato chips!!! Soo good!!! House made, thick cut chips, not too oily, and comes to your table still warm! Although there’s cheaper places to get a lobster roll, this one so far has the best flavor. Although others complained about the price, which yes, is a legit complaint, you get the double whammy of #1 eating at a hotel, and #2 eating at a hotel that’s more or less at the airport. Despite that, I still look forward to eating there when I’m in town.

I can’t tell you how miserable it is to come in this place and try to eat or drink. They never have tables and the bar is always packed leaving only the island bar. No waitress service there so you have to get a menu and order over top of everyone at the bar by screaming at an inattentive bartender. The bar is large and there is 1(maybe 2 if you’re lucky) bartenders who pay no attention to what’s going on. For a place with prices this high($ 25 fish and chips) the service is incredibly poor. The room itself is nice but extremely loud. I’ve been here several times and every time I say ‘never again’ but they have you trapped! My food was just delivered by someone who drops the plate and departs. I don’t think they need my business. Next time I’ll purchase my $ 26 very average salmon elsewhere.

My husband and I stayed at the Hilton before an early morning flight and decided to eat at Connolly’s since it was right in the hotel. That was a mistake. The food was horrible. I cannot say horrible enough times. I have fish and my husband had some sort of turkey sandwhich and soup. The soup was good but the sandwich was very dry and he couldn’t continue eating it because it was so bad. I had the fish and it was mushy and just Yuck! Our bill came to 90.00 which is ridicules for a pub with horrible food. We’ll stay at the hotel again but eat before we get there. I’m giving it one star because the waitress and drinks were good.

Another hater’s place… I personally think they nailed it! Sat at the bar. Staff was friendly… Actually turned over while I was there and didn’t ask me to cash out… Never seen that before! Both crews were very attentive! Food was great! Can’t lie… It is a little pricey! But you are literally connected to the airport! No shuttle, no going outside! Did you really expect less?

I recently visited Connolly’s at the Boston Logan airport Hilton not once but twice in the same day! While stranded I hung out at the Hilton long enough to have lunch and then a Bloody Mary and appetizer later the same day. I rate my lunch a 4 star meal with 3 star service(a little overpriced but not bad or airport prices) and my happy hour a 2 star app, 4 star drink, and 4 star service. The bar staff were more engaging and friendly than the wait staff, who seemed a little too busy. On the food: my lunch Cobb salad was perfected varied with fresh baby greens and hefty portions of bacon, hard boiled egg, blue cheese, and tomato on top. It also had a good sized serving of nice white meat grilled chicken breast on top. At $ 16, a little much for a salad but good for the airport! My happy hour Bloody Mary was pretty good! It came with two olives and a lime wedge(no pickle sadly, but someone told me last time I was in Boston that they don’t typically add pickles to Bloodies here, must be a Midwest thing). My appetizer of Shrimp and Avocado was just OK. It was two large cocktail shrimp served with about a half a sliced avocado on top of some tomato chutney. Unfortunately the shrimp was overly chewy and hard and the chutney lacked flavor. I added some tabasco and black pepper and that helped!

Forced to eat here one night while staying at the Hilton Logan Airport when dinner plans fell through. The BBQ pork sandwich was«meh» but not life-ending. The buffalo wings, on the other hand, were some of the worst I’ve ever had. Had I downed the entire plate, I think I might have had to go to the ER. Just atrocious. Everything on the menu is WAY overpriced. Even if the food was outstanding(which it’s far from) the menu prices would still be outrageous. For example, the lobster roll is $ 28. TWENTYEIGHTDOLLARS! At another restaurant on our trip, I was able to order an entire two pound lobster for just 4 dollars more than the lobster roll on the menu at Connolly’s. I guess when they have you captive at an airport hotel they can charge whatever they want. Why two stars, then? I added an extra star for the exceptional and friendly bartender who made a terrible food experience bearable on a social level. Thank you, sir.

Came for dinner while here on a business trip. Ordered the fish tacos which came with black beans and rice and were topped with pico and guacamole. The tacos were adequate for a hotel restaurant but nothing to write home about. If you asked me to identify what type of fish it was we would both be out of luck. The sides were a bit flavorless until I doused them with Tabasco.

Overpriced food and apathetic service tells me that the only reason this spot can survive is because they have a captive audience. But even among airport hotel food establishments, this one sinks towards the bottom. If I ever find myself needing to stay here again, rest assured I will bring a sandwich from town or just wait until I get to town to eat.
