History

Established in 2004.

Now proudly serving the Boston Metropolitan Area, Cape Cod, Washington DC, Annapolis, Baltimore, Chicago, Palm Beach, Phoenix, and San Antonio.

Dane Austin has been working as an interior designer since 2001. His approach to design, while rooted in tradition, is tempered by a strong infusion of modern elements. Creating warm, personal environments that reflect a client’s personality and lifestyle gives Dane his greatest pleasure.

Dane Austin is an allied member of ASID — The American Society of Interior Design. His work has been featured in the Washington Post Home section, Metro Weekly Magazine, The Washington Blade, Houzz​.com and other online blogs.

Business Owner

After several years with a reputable Georgetown designer specializing in traditional, high-​end residential interiors, Dane launched Dane Austin Design, dedicated to giving clients a range of design possibilities that fit their lifestyles, from traditional to contemporary and innovative. A graduate of Washington, DC’s Corcoran College of Art + Design, Dane also obtained classical training from the renowned Sotheby’s Institute of Art in London and the Institute of Studies for Superior Arts in Paris. He is an allied member of ASID (American Society of Interior Design) and IIDA (International Interior Design Association). He lives in Boston with his husband Joshua and their two dogs.

Aga Orlowska works alongside Dane Austin to provide attentive service and design consultation to Dane Austin Design clients across the country. Her passion for people and love of interior design make her the perfect addition to the team, and her project management expertise keeps projects on time & on budget.
