I came across this staffing firm while at a job fair in Woburn. For job fairs– it was good (it had over 50 companies there which was impressive! and not all staffing agencies)
I was one of the first people at the booth and spoke with one of the two recruiters there. They liked my resume and had me fill out an application so they could start getting my information into the system. The recruiter said we could speak once this was done.
I hadn’t heard anything a few days after the career fair so I followed up with an email. The following week I got a call about some Credit Analyst position. After being told the title of the job she went straight into reading the description. Five minutes later she asked if it was something I would want to do. I said thank you but no thanks. She was like «Oh after I read all that». If she had given me a chance to tell her after telling me the title of the job I would have told her not to bother but she didn’t take a breath. And if she had ever followed up with me to begin with– to even find out what I was looking for in a career she wouldn’t have wasted her time. I didn’t ever hear back from her about another position.
Its all good though because this morning I found out I got a job that I found on my own!
