Emulsion Printhouse

We were initially looking for a local vendor to print a massive quantity of shirts and apparel. We found Emulsion Printhouse and the sales team was very responsive and friendly. After several rounds of getting sample shirts & polos, we finally decided to move forward. Unfortunately, that’s when the service seemed to go downhill.
We ordered over 1500 items of apparel total. The shirts arrived in busted up boxes — almost as if they were used to play kickball with. Then, the apparel was not organized in the boxes. Smalls here, Larges there, mixed sizes… it was quite a mess.
After taking the pieces out to check the print quality (which the design was extremely simple), we noticed a fairly decent inconsistency in the screen printing. We expected to receive a few defective items in the bunch, and that part happened. Overall for the size of the order, the amount of defective items were not bad, totaling around 20 – 25 pieces (assuming you give them the benefit of a doubt with a small variance in output).
We worked with Emulsion to correct this, as there were several issues. Some of the printing was heavily skewed on the fabric and stretched the graphic, some printing was off registration, and some shirts arrived stained. They ultimately agreed to replace the items after we returned the defective pieces.
When the «corrected» items arrived, something looked off. First of which, they arrived in the same beat up boxes, not well organized, and the shirts were far more wrinkly — almost as if they resent us the defective items back to us. None of the other shirts from the first order ever arrived looking like that. The printing issues all appeared to have the same problems. Even the new shirts (that weren’t wrinkly), were off registration with the print. You would think that they would pay extra attention to the corrected pieces.
Needless to say, our experience was sub-​par. There didn’t seem to be any kind of consistent quality control. We also had to cross-​check every invoice, as each one they sent had errors on it.

I love Emulsion! Dave was so guiding and helpful with my project– he was attentive and quick to respond to any question I had, and he had great suggestions! It is really nice to work with people who love what they do, and know their stuff. I am so happy with how my products came out, and I cannot wait to re-​order a whole new batch, and then some!

I’ll start off by saying that my boss gave me a last minute project on Wednesday night to please get his name imprinted on his Marathon Monday singlet which is 100% polyester. I called 5 places in the area and every place said that it would take 10 – 15 days no exceptions due to the technical and material aspect. Chris at Emulsion Printhouse was a life saver. As soon as he answered the phone it was a positive and attractive conversation. He informed me that they’re production warehouse is in CT but if I overnighted the shirt he would get it done within a couple hours and overnight it back to me as I need it today, Friday, which it just arrived. (Thanks so much Chris)!!!
They usually ship back ground UPS but as this is for my boss I sent him a return express UPS label and he took care of the rest. I can’t believe he was so easy going and efficient and all the other competitors wouldn’t take one this project at all. It goes to show you how small businesses want to excel and work hard in order to please their customers!

These are guys are great and deliver a high quality product. They were able to turn a job in about a week when we needed some tees & hoodies printed in a hurry. We were in a bind and needed shirts done ASAP. After several google attempts I thought we weren’t going to be able to get the shirts done before the deadline. Luckily, I stumbled across Emulsion on Unilocal.They were close by and had good reviews so gave it a shot. Dave was friendly, and clear on what he could deliver. They even did rush orders and frankly saved the day. They arrived when they said they would and were able to replicate the graphics we needed on the shirts perfectly! After multiple attempts at finding a decent on-​line vendor for custom apparel services, only to receive sub-​par products for the price, I finally found my company’s go-​to place. I found Emulsion Apparel by just doing a Google search with the intention of going with a local place for our most recent apparel need. I could write a wicked long review on why I am so happy that I did, but here is really all you need to know:
1) Incredibly friendly and responsive real-​life customer service that will answer any questions you may have in a timely and thorough manner. Also, they won’t assume anything and will reach out to you if they have a question about details (e.g. the color of your logo).
2) Extremely quick turn around time. It only took them less than a week to receive, create and ship our 75 hats. I just received them today. You’d have to pay an arm and a leg for that kind of turn around time elsewhere.
3) AWESOME product. Seriously. We ordered a bunch of hats that I had decided upon with the help of Dave at Emulsion and they turned out SO well. I am super impressed.
All around awesome experience working with them. I wish I had discovered them sooner… but I’m glad we now know about them for our future apparel and promo material needs! And I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Worked with Dave from Emulsion to get t-​shirts printed for the guests at our destination wedding. He was super helpful, nice, polite, and responded to emails within an hour! He made me feel totally at ease with the whole process! The t-​shirts came out wonderfully and I’m very happy with the customer service we received. Emulsion did a small batch order for me on short notice, and I couldn’t have been happier with the service or the quality of the product. I emailed them Monday morning; by Wednesday afternoon I had my shirts. Plus, they didn’t charge me a rush fee, even though I offered to pay one. The communication and service was great the whole way through — both profession and very friendly. Finally, the shirts looked amazing!
