The Garage at Post Office Square is one of the best places to park your vehicle in Boston with easy access points (enter & exit) along Pearl St (NB) and Congress St (SB). This 24 hour underground parking garage is centrally located in the heart of the Financial District with short walks to popular destinations including Downtown Crossing, Theater District, Waterfront, Faneuil Hall, and TD Garden. This garage offers plenty of parking (6 stories deep) with great evening and weekend pricing deals, $ 9 flat rate after 4PM weeknights and all day Saturday and Sunday. However, it is very pricey to park here on weekdays before 4PM.
Take your ticket with you after you park your vehicle. When you are ready to leave, pay for parking in the lobby before heading back to your vehicle. As you are driving out of the garage, insert your paid ticket into the machine at the exit gate.
Especially during the cold winter season, I love that this garage is heated and my parked car is dry and warm when I’m ready to head home after a night on the town.

Really great weekend deals and a clean, well lit garage that doesn’t make you want to find an escort from the elevator to your car, though that is an option because the facility is staffed 24 hours and the staff is able to accommodate most all requests.

Nice, clean, plenty of space (6-​stories deep underground), affordable (9 $ all day on weekends), nice location (close to Quincy Market, Chinatown, Public Garden, Boston Common, etc…), easy to get in, easy to get back to 93.

A fantastic parking garage located at the heart of Boston!
Saturdays and Sundays here are ONLY $ 9. Anyone who’s been around Boston knows that the standard fare for weekends are at least $ 20. This place is such a steal for the location and has plenty of parking space (I think 6 levels?). The lobby of the garage is also nice with elevators leading up from each floor. The garage is underneath a small but beautiful park as well.
Do your wallet a favor and park here as it’s only 10 – 15 minutes walking from a lot of popular Boston destinations!

By far, this is one of the best garages in Boston and probably one of the best kept secrets in the city as well. It is underneath a park and it is really easy to get in and out of via Pearl and Congress Streets. During the weeknights and weekend, they have great parking rates. If you can, make sure you get on the list for a Park Card. Sure, I am a little biased since I have a Park Card, but it is a great deal! Tap in, tap out, and it’s just like an EZ-​Pass.
The garage is VERY safe and EXTREMELY clean! They recently renovated the garage and it is warm and inviting. There are bathrooms, an ATM, and a dry-​cleaning service available. Seriously. Where else can you find that in downtown Boston?! Plus, like other Unilocalers have mentioned, the spots are not the ones that require a can-​opener to get in and out of.
Above ground, there is also a little café adjacent to the gorgeous park. This parking garage is conveniently located to the waterfront, Faneuil Hall, and Downtown Crossing. If I need to get to the Back Bay, I can either walk to the State Street T station or simply call up an Über (cabs are soooo 2012!!).
The staff here are very friendly, too.

Love doing business in Boston. Great place to park. The garage is always clean, very well lit and the staff at the deck always pleasant and helpful.
It is easy for me to get to off the pike from Atlantic Ave and the entrance is also easy from the exit.

Location isn’t too bad, right near Faneuil hall and the wharf, definitely within walking distance to most places you can get to in the area by the financial district.

This was on one of the nicer underground parking lots Ive seen. They had charging stations for hybrid cars and the floors were even painted, very nice and clean. The best part about it was it was the price. $ 9 bucks for all day on the weekends and after 4PM on the weekdays. Its right in a prime area and walking distance to quincy market. I would even park here and walk to the North End if I had to. Parking was pretty bad in that area. Almost everything was North End resitdent parking only after 6PM and a lot of the parking lots were full. Easy 5 stars for this parking lot.

So…it must be filthy, right? NOPE — Cleanest and most well-​lit garage I’ve parked in. Parking lanes are clearly marked for easy navigation. Elevators and lobby area look like a 5-​star hotel.
So…it must have teeeeeny spots, right? — NUH’UH — Plenty of room for trucks, plenty of room for door swing. Loads of wide handicap spaces right near the elevator.
So…it MUST fill up quickly, right? — NANANANANAAAAA-​NO — I asked at the desk when I was paying my fare if they are often full to the brim and the attendant said that especially on weekends they VERY rarely come close to full capacity (6 levels of parking!).
Easy access to downtown (because it IS downtown), located under one of the most beautiful park spaces in the city (easy to remember), best parking rates for Saturday-​day you’ll find (most places charge 22 – 28 $ for your hours of Boston adventure, ESPECIALLY on game day/​nights!). THIS IS IT!

Really clean parking garage that you don’t have to feel nervous in. It can sometimes be very dizzying if you parked a few floors down and have to drive up or down the ramps. I’ve always been able to get a spot here and I love that parking is only $ 9 after 4:00. The bathrooms are super clean down here, as well.

Garage @ Post Office Square fun fact: The escalators might have a slight electrical problem… I think they are not grounded properly, so while you are riding them, if you touch ANYTHING metal, you get a little bit of a tingle (electric shock). doesn’t feel like much, maybe around 20V or so. Not enough to hurt, but enough of a buzz to make you want to keep doing it.
…they might want to look in to that… I think i’m gonna take a star away for fear of possible electrocution. it’s still my garage of choice.

Very nice place to park and great location. It is very expensive like other parking garages during weekdays though. On nights and weekends you can park for $ 9. Probably one of the best options for night and weekend parking in Boston if you want the security. But the thing is that the financial district is a ghost town during these times so you will have a good chance finding street parking.

One of the best places to park in the city. It is centrally located. So, you can walk to any part of the city. It is $ 9 to park on weekends and nights. I am always in search of cheap garages. And I believe this is one of them. It is safe and there is always plenty of spaces. Also, there is bathroom you can use. Which is always a bonus after a night of drinking. Just make sure you bring your ticket with you. You will figure it out.

There are many things I love about Boston, and I really don’t count parking garages amongst the upper echelons of my city obsessions. But, as parking garages go, PO square is the Mohammed Ali of concrete car caverns. First of all you have to respect the great location centered in the thick of things with access to the waterfront/​financial district while also providing ample options to enter nearly every line the T system has in its arsenal. Not to be outdone they add an OCD cleaning crew seemingly made up of Disney World janitors who retired back north but refused to surrender their commitment to excellence. Really craving that 5^th star they top it all off with classical music filling the air 24 – 7 as you ride the pristine, reliable elevators up from the depths to rise into a beautifully landscaped park which is a great escape from the «In your face» concrete obsession that cluttered the city for far too long. Just to be safe you’ve got the «B Of A» ATM and a regularly cleaned bathroom adjacent to a shoe shine stand. They really hit it on the head with this one. Doubtful it will be outdone any time soon. For all you action movie freaks you’ll also be happy to know that a 3 mph turn in this garage sounds like you are flooring the gas pedal of a high performance sports car on two wheels down a European alleyway. AHH Simple pleasures! Great deals after 4PM out by 8AM and overly generous weekend prices were the spark that ignited a devoted parking garage lust which has stood the test of time.

Five reasons… always plenty of parking on the weekend, good location, BOA ATM, and a bathroom, all at a reasonable price.

Who knew that a parking garage could be so nice. The flower coordinated levels and areas make it easy enough to find your car. The heated building makes it pleasant to find your car as well. Check out the website for hours/​pricing. Centrally located but on the weekends I would go for 75 State Street, personally.

Actually I’m not reviewing the Garage, but the park above the garage at PO Square. It’s actually called: Norman B. Leventhal Park.
I think this is a pretty well-​know place around Financial District for hanging out during lunch hours. Lots of people will bring their lunch and just sit on the grass or benches. (**Take a nap if you want!!!**) It’s really relaxing to hang out on the green space when you work around downtown (very limited green around!)
Tips: grab a seat cushion (FREE, provided by the park! It’s located near the garage entrace side of the park)
