George Sherman Union

I’ve been an undergraduate student for four years at Boston University and GSU is always a good place to host meetings with people and events for groups. It has a decent food court area with various options as soup, Chinese food, sushi and sandwiches. A lot of people come here to study too but it is rather loud during the day. They have comfy booths but they are generally taken, especially during lunch times. Everything’s pretty well kept and fairly new looking.
If you’re up for it, they have Rhett’s too. They have a Rhett’s challenge where you have to finish a plate full of various foods they give you and if you can finish all of it then it’s free! But it is rather brutal as the times I witnessed it, the people generally end up vomiting.

The GSU is always a nice place to study and grab a quick meal. It’s a pretty central location on campus, so you’re always close to your classes or dorm. It can get pretty crazy in the food court when it first opens, so grab a table before you get some food.
No matter if you like to study in quiet or ambient noise, the GSU has some solid spots to the check out. There’s the library, seating area by the food court, and other lounges. It’s a solid place to meet up with friends between classes.
Sometimes it can be a bit messy… But, what can you do? It’s college haha. This is why we can’t have nice things.
