As a Mason I was able to get a private tour of the building and I was completely amazed by the architecture. The Corinthian Room was by far one of the most outstanding examples of Belle Époque craftwork that I have ever seen. Plenty of other lodge rooms to visit and admire. Take the public tour when they offer them.

We stopped by being an OES and hubby as a Mason unfortunately the tours were over so we were not able to check out the place. We were only allowed to stay at the lobby so that’s what we did. The place was really nice and hubby saw the grand marble staircase and said that it was really«grand» LoL We can fly back again here in Boston and take the tour to this Grand Lodge next time :-)

This is the place from which all fraternal life in The US began. A true hidden Jen of Boston.

The building itself is beautifully adorned, from the murals on the outside to the paintings, statues, and people inside. A+ group that does a great amount for the community

This is the oldest Fraternity in the Western Hemisphere, dating back to 1733 here in Boston. This building is exquisite, and well worth a visit. They have guided tours on weekdays. The ceiling of Corinthian Hall is breathtaking. There is a portrait of Paul Revere that Revere himself sat for. They have been doing massive renovations, and it really shows. The library is world-class, consisting of over 70,000 volumes. The librarian is extremely helpful, and research is encouraged. Lovely place to visit.
