Like totally the best ever. Omg’ish

Location is everything, and this ice cream stop was a godsend on a hot Boston day (rarity).
Quick pit stop on a touristy Freedom Trail run, got the Peanut Butter Cup scoop and Cookie Dough scoop on a regular cone. Ran me about $ 5ish, but considering how much I got it was worth it. The ice cream looked like it had freezer burn all over it, but got creamier a few bites in.
Only real issue is that the ice cream doesn’t reach the bottom of the cone, so you’ll end up either throwing out the bottom portion or eating what amounts to be a fortune cookie by the end.

I had an intense ice cream craving, and this happened to be in my ice cream radar at the moment. I enjoyed some Cookeo ice cream (that is not a typo — it is indeed called Cookeo). It’s basically Oreo ice cream with a different name is all. It did the job and satisfied my random craving for ice cream in the middle of a Sunday afternoon. My friends thought I was crazy as we just stuffed our faces at Masa at about 10am… whatevs. I did pilates and a ton of squats when I got home later on so all was justified in my book…

I had the most bizarre experience here: I was looking at the case of handmade chocolates – lovely old timey things like turtles and haystacks and candied peel – and someone entirely a stranger to me came up and shouted at the shop attendant, who had been cleaning something and facing the other direction, «HEY, this lady wants to buy something and what are you doing?! You should pay attention to your customers! Jeez!»
I wasn’t ready to purchase yet so I felt compelled to apologise for the aggressive passerby.
Anyway, everything at this shop is as inordinately expensive as you’d expect for a major tourist destination, but the vintage sweets were top notch. Happy customer.
