Greg Pratt Massage Boston

I had my first massage with Greg yesterday and it was probably the best treatment I’ve ever received. I’m training for the Boston Marathon and called Greg last minute for a sports massage concentrating on my legs. He was able to take me right away, came up with a personalized massage that fit exactly what I needed, and was so kind and caring. He really goes out of his way to make you feel comfortable and ensures you’re getting the right treatment for your body. I’m definitely going back!

I had a really stiff back from some yoga classes where I pushed myself a bit too far. I asked Greg to focus on my back to help relieve the tension, and by that night, I felt 100% back to normal! Bring on the back bends!

Each time coming back here is better than before. Greg knows my body pretty well after a few sessions here. AH-​MAZING.

Before I discovered Greg, I had never had a massage that was truly relaxing — now I would never go anywhere else for a massage! (After the first time I saw Greg, I apparently looked so happy that my friends commented on it.) My back and shoulders tend to get pretty tight from stress and lack of sleep, and a visit to Greg always does wonders — he uses exactly the right amount of pressure and all of his cumulative knowledge to get my back to relax. I have had massages with others in the past, where they used a lot of pressure and I felt bruised the next day instead of relaxed — not so with Greg.

Bought a 60 minute massage for my wife using the Unilocal coupon. My wife loved it. She said it was very relaxing and Greg was really nice and non-​intrusive.
Greg is also very accomodating and responsive. He responds to any inquiries almost immediately.

Greg is quite intuitive, locating the muscles and using different techniques to work out problem areas; I was impressed!

I recently had my first appointment with Greg and he is a great massage therapist! He’s very friendly and makes you feel comfortable. His technique is excellent, checks in with the amount of pressure he’s applying and adjusts accordingly. I don’t think I have ever felt more relaxed and renewed. He also spent a good amount of time on my problem areas. The next day they didn’t bother me at all. I will definitely be back!

Just as awesome a second time! Very in-​tune with client needs. I left his office feeling great relief. I am seriously considering buying a package deal now. I’ve had a handful of massages, but Greg definitely does it best.

I had an excellent massage from Greg recently (all because of the great Unilocal deal!). He was as good as everyone had stated in the prior reviews. He is wonderfully welcoming when you get there, makes sure everything is perfectly comfortable for you, and then the massage was excellent. He uses the entire strength of his body in the massage. I felt so light and relaxed afterward, and a day later I still feel as good.

Greg was an amazing masseuse! He was very professional, courteous, and intuitive on my areas of need. His pressure was spot on and you could tell from his technique that he really understood how the human body worked. I could tell just from my experience that Greg enjoys what he does and is passionate about massage therapy! I would highly recommend going to Greg and booking him.

After months of stress and beginning a new exercise regimen, I decided to treat myself to a much needed massage. I had actually never had a massage before so looked on Unilocal for a therapist and Greg seemed to stick out. He had positive reviews, which are important of course, but I also liked that he is a one-​man operation. I’ve grown tired of upscale spas where appointments are difficult to get and clientele can be somewhat pretentious. Greg has the quality of an upscale spa without the attitude. It was super easy to get an appointment. He responded to my email request within a few hours and was able to accommodate the exact day and time that I wanted. When I arrived at my appointment, I immediately liked Greg and felt like I had known him for years. He was personable and full of energy. We talked about areas that were in particular need of attention as well as any areas that I might prefer to be omitted. And since this was my first massage, Greg let me know what to expect and put me completely at ease. The room was warm and relaxing with soft lighting and mellow music. Greg gave an amazing massage, checking in every so often to make sure the pressure was okay, but otherwise letting me melt into the tranquil experience. The 90 minutes seemed to fly by because I didn’t want it to end, but it was a very thorough massage that was the perfect combination of deep tissue work, stretching and relaxation. There are even delicious chocolates to enjoy when you’re done! :) Greg is a great guy and a very professional therapist. I could not have asked for a better first massage experience and I am eager to return.

As a client, I can honestly say that Greg is everything one hopes for in a massage therapist. He is personable, knowledgeable, and consummately skilled. He listens carefully as you explain which areas need specific attention, and he asks the pertinent follow-​up questions necessary to custom-​tailor a massage just for you, using the most effective techniques for your particular needs. He has a unique and rare ability to make clients immediately relaxed and comfortable. During the massage, he is nothing short of instinctive about the techniques to use and the amounts of pressure to apply. When I leave Greg’s studio, I feel absolutely relaxed and renewed, and the feeling is still with me throughout the week. Aches that cropped up during gym workouts are gone, and I’m able to push myself harder without feeling discomfort. Whether you’re a massage afficianado, or someone who’s never had a massage before, you owe it to yourself to book a session with Greg.

I used to think massages were somewhat of a waste of time and money, not really feeling like the investment made a difference as to how my body felt before vs after. After having a massage with Greg my whole perspective has changed, and I am now hooked as a regular client. Greg applies the right level of pressure, pays special attention to soar muscles/​stretching and will guarantee to leave you feeling amazing after a 60 minute session!

My search for a great massage is finally over. After getting many massages that just weren’t that good, I found Greg. I found him in a South End spa, but he has since started his own practice. Aside from giving the greatest massages in Boston he’s a very nice guy. As long as I live in Boston, I won’t get a massage from anyone else!
