My flight was severely delayed, but luckily Harpoon was right next to my gate! TVs, beer, and lobster rolls. What more can you ask for? They have plenty of their beers on tap and have food. They have a full menu as well as 3 to go options. I took this opportunity to get one more lobster roll. It was around $ 16 – 17. It was served New England style– cold– with a piece of lettuce on a hot dog bun. Definitely not the best, but it wasn’t too bad! Bun could be better, more lobster would have been appreciated, but still pretty good bang for your buck for a lobster roll at the airport!

We didn’t actually eat here because the waitress was repeatedly rude to us. So we ate elsewhere. We arrived at 11:15 am, 15 minutes after their posted opening time. The waitress threw the menus down and said she wouldn’t be able to serve us food for a while because there were several tables in front of us. We said ok and sat down anyway. After spending the next 15 minutes counting change for the register, she came over to take our order. So we ordered beer and lunch. She refused to take our lunch order because«the food is not ready yet. I can’t take your order until it is.» A restaurant should not claim to be open when it’s not, especially in an airport.

I was not impressed at all. The only thing this place has going for it is the beer. I got here at lunch time(12:15) and the kitchen wasn’t open yet, it didn’t open until about 1230+. I got a beer while waiting which was good(I like harpoon). The bartender wasn’t too attentive so I had to wait a bit to put my food order. I got a pastrami sandwich which had decent flavor but was severely lacking in the meat department and only had a few slices. The person next to me got the lobster quesadilla which looked pretty good though. On a side note about the pretzel. The picture they have on the front of their menus is the the brewery pretzel. This is not the pretzel they serve you here(I asked and was told it was different).

Food and beer is fine– but they rock at what you need from an airport bar. They are fast and efficient. Even packed to the brim with people waiting for seats, I never felt neglected. I’ll be back, even if in a hurry.

6am Monday flight looking for breakfast. Sign says open at 5, but not really serving until after 6. 3 egg sandwiches available. No home fries«because it’s Monday and the delivery doesn’t come until later». Coffee from a Keurig(not necessarily bad) and only 1 person working. No drinks until 8. The company needs to do a better job!

Beer decent. Service exceptional but place is terribly designed and more packed than Dolly Pardons bra. Absolutely the very worst god awful inedible excuse for a pastrami sandwich ever.. Do not order it!!! Call the local prosecutor for them serving it. The lobster quesadillas good I am being more than fair here.

Well, despite the other reviews, I decided to give this place a chance. After all how can you mess up a great beer brand. Let’s begin, yes the«service staff» seem angry/slow, but I think it is because they are trying to run the 49 seat location with one person. I came in a 9:30 am on. Sunday, two other guest and the one server was stocking retail/paper items, rolling silverware, getting ready to switch over from breakfast to lunch and oh yeah– waiting on the customer. I felt sorry for her and just waited for 30 minutes while talking to other customers you told me good luck with getting service. After catching up on some emails and voice messages. I tracked /cornered her as asked how did service here work. In the spirit of «The Varsity, she asked, «what will you have»? I ordered the spicy sausage breakfast sandwich and water to start and I did want to get a beer as well. She replied -«you will be my last breakfast, thank god, oh it will have to be on a ciabatta because we are out of bagels and ok, just have a seat. I went humbled like a second grader back to my seat and patiently awaited the arrival of my food. 10 mins later the cook(she is not alone) delivered my food. The food was not bad. But I still had no beverage water or beer, so I proceeded back to the bar to ask for water and a beer. This time the cook was behind the bar and she motioned to the server folding t– shirts to come help me. She immediately made me a water and asked me what I wanted now. I asked about the UFO beers, she replied that they were out of the wheat. I order the Harpoon Take 5IPA– she replied«I was about to un– tap that one because the cooler does not work and we don’t need two IPAs on tap. I asked if the beer would be cold, she replied with silence and poured my beer. It was not very cold, but ok. Service did get better once other employees came in at 11:09 am. Someone please get this location some help. It is a great location that is just poorly managed. I would have hanged out here for a longer period of time, if I did not feel like I was putting the employees in a bind by wanting to spend money. Oh, you are out of the lobster roll today– take the sign down. Just sad.

I’ve gotten a drink here before raining for a delayed flight. This time I has an early morning flight for what was going to be a long day, so I decided to have a sit down breakfast at as it wasn’t a very busy spot. I sat down and waited at least 10 minutes before someone stopped chatting and came out of the corner to bring me a menu. There wasn’t much on the menu so I quickly decided on an egg and cheese breakfast(no meat) sandwich with a bottle of water(I’d order here and skip the line at the Newslink) and orange juice. I ordered just that when my waitress came back 5 min later. The slow service wasn’t a big deal as the incoming plane hadn’t even arrived and would need to deplane before boarding. Well 10 min later the cook comes out confused about my sandwich order and what meat did I want on it. I explained that I just wanted cheese, no meat. So when my sandwich comes out 5 min later(total wait time now: 30 min), it’s just cheese on bread! I got up and pointed to the menu to show the cook, who was still nearby chatting with other workers that I ordered an egg and cheese. The correct sandwich was brought to me less than a min later. So what was all the delay for previously! I took one bit of my sandwich and my flight started to board. I got up, with both sandwich and cc in hand, and asked to the waitress close my tab since I had to go. I also reminded her not to charge for the bottle of water and orange juice that I never got. To add fuel to the fire, both the cheese and egg/cheese sandwich was on the bill. The manager was called in to assist with adjusting the bill both times. I finished my breakfast at the register. I quickly signed the bill, got a bottle of water at the Newslink next door and rushed onto the plane. I really hope the service is better for the lunch or dinner crowd. I won’t be eating here again! The bar on the other side of the terminal is much better. I actually check to see if they were open first :-(.

For the most part — its like most airport bars I’ve been in. Food is almost edible and over priced, Harpoon IPA — way overpriced and not my favorite IPA, but drinkable, service was not very friendly but food and drink came out quick enough. Probably because I was sitting at the bar. The wait staff acted as if they could care less if they ever saw you again — and probably don’t plan on you coming back. So — I won’t. Don’t waste your time either.

This is a slice of heaven in the Southwest Airlines terminal of Logan Airport! I was only in town for a very short amount of time so I missed out on some seafood staples until I found the taproom outside my gate! There was a menu with 3 items listed and one of them was a lobster roll! Sold! We had to board within 15 minutes and the bar tender advised we could get two rolls to go within 5 minutes. While we waited we each got a glass of UFO on tap. The only thing I didn’t like was that the bill was $ 50 for two rolls and two beers. But like she said everything was ready within 5 minutes. My lobster roll was to die for! It wasn’t overly saturated in mayonnaise, it was giant chunks of lobster on a warm potato roll. It was a little on the small size but it came with a bag of Cape Cod chips and a pickle. It was just what I wanted prior to leaving New England.

Its obvious they are aware of their captive audience. The hot dog is way overpriced and lousy. Bread was chewy/rubbery, the wiener was tough, dry and tasted like it was reheated leftovers. The casing took some work to bite through, and the meat inside was tough and blah. The chili on top was as cold as the mustard they slapped on it. The beer was decent but nothing spectacular or memorable(harpoon ipa). The service was the only thing worse than the food. Server took my order, then brought me the check. 10 min later i got my first beer. 10 min after that, i got a hotdog and bag of chips. Come on– 20+ minutes for a hot dog?!? The waiter barely said two words and i never saw him after he brought check until i decided to pay it. A runner actually brought the food out. I wanted a second beer, to wash the flavor of that stale dog out of my mouth. I never got it. So it took an agonizing hour to get a soda(boarded plane right after check paid — dont come here if your flight is about to board) on my flight to wash away the taste of a stale dog made with only the finest lips and assholes the slaughterhouse swept up. And for only $ 20!

I get it… It’s a bar in a airport. But the staff was angry and just overall slow! I wonder if they realize people have to catch a flight??? Not worth the beer, wait, or the price.

Disgusting lobster roll. If you like eating plain, dry lobster then maybe you will like this but it had no mayo, seasonings, butter, etc. It was plain rubbery lobster. It was also SMALL. For $ 17 I expect much better. Do NOT go here. Only saving grace is yes its harpoon beers. $ 10 gets you four 4oz pours of most of their beers on tap.

I’d only get the beer here. While waiting for my flight, I had 1.5 beers, some chowder, and the lobster roll. I ended up being sick( , y’all) my entire flight home. I think it was food poisoning and this was the only food I’d had in the past 6 hours so I’m guessing it was the culprit. Shame on me for eating seafood at an airport.

A local person recommend that we try Harpoon instead of Samuel Adams — better beer, better location and a REAL Boston brewery! While Harpoon’s beers aren’t my faves, I still enjoyed this tap room. My husband and I shared a flight and a pretzel. I recommend this brewery!

I dunno, could be off base but who knows. Good service, great beer, and a tastey roll. Cold and light dressing. Thought the potato salad was top notch. Close to my swa gate, so convenient. Priced good too. $ 8 less that warm roll at legal last night.

Let me help you out with all you need to know: Order liquor. Order a bag of chips. Possibly order more liquor. Get on the plane. Do not pass go. Do not collect $ 200. And lord have mercy do not order food here. It is trash. Don’t even get enticed by the pickle that comes with it(like I did) because honey, it looked like it was resurrected from death a few decades ago and tastes just the same. Stuck with the bagged Cape Cod chips — you cannot go wrong here. And the people? You’ve got your typical Gronkowski-attitude Boston Bro and your traveler who just doesn’t know any better. Stick to beer and liquor and you are GOOD! :)

Eh. Food is all stale, but the Harpoon beer is as good as ever! Good selection of their best brews in bottles and on tap. And that’s what matters, right? There’s nothing better than a delicious beer before a flight. The pretzels here are disappointing compared to the ones at the actual brewery. Nowhere near as fresh, or as doughy. Basically, come for the beer, but grab some food elsewhere. Luckily, Terminal A has a lot of options!
