From September — April we also repair snowblowers for local customers. Unfortunately we no longer service any other type of equipment.

We Started JD Small Engine with the intention of remaining a small neighborhood shop that people would come to know and trust through our reliable, friendly, and flexible service. My snowblower was running really rough this past winter. I know it was because I never do what is recommended when storing it for the off-​season and had not always used fresh gas. Tom at JD Small Engine picked up the machine, worked on it and returned it. He kept in touch when he determined it needed new carburetor and that he would order one. I didn’t even need to be home for the pick up and return. His price was extremely reasonable and he left an invoice when he returned it so I was able to start it up and check it out before I mailed him a check. The tune up was very thorough and the machine runs really smooth now. I would recommend him to anyone in the area that needs their snowblower to be in top working order for an extreme winter season like we have here. I’m going to call him again next year.
