Matt McCarthy

Matt grew up in Medfield MA and attended Tabor Academy before getting his bachelor degree at Tufts University. He has been in the Mortgage industry for 7 yrs and according to Mortgage Originator Magazine has been in the top 1% of loan originators in the country the last 4 years. His experience and knowledge are crucial to getting his clients the best rates and products to fit their needs.

Pat Walsh

Pat grew up in Foster, RI and attended Tufts University. Having been in the area for his entire life, Pat knows the local market extremely well. He has been working in the financial world since 2006, and would be happy to assist you with your mortgage needs.

Mike McCarthy

Mike is a 2007 graduate of Hobart and William Smith Colleges. He spent 2 yrs playing professional hockey in Europe before stepping into the real estate industry full time. Mike worked as a real estate agent in Greater Boston focusing on condo purchases before becoming a full time loan officer in 2011.

Just when I thought my deal wasn’t going to go through I was lucky enough to have Matt’s information passed to me. Matt and his team at Leader Bank went above and beyond to make sure this deal got done.
They were very responsive to every question or concern I had and made sure to always keep me in the loop throughout the whole process. The options Matt was able to provide to me were significantly better than other banks I had spoken to. Without Matt and Leader Bank the deal never would have happened.
I strongly recommend working with Matt and have already referred my closest friends. If you’re not working with Leader Bank then you’re not getting the best deal you can!

Let’s face it. So many banks are all warm and fuzzy with their advertising, but in actually working with them, there’s much to be desired.
That’s actually how I felt about my current bank. They have all my money, yet they really don’t seem that enthusiastic about helping me buy a home. And then heard about Matt and was so glad I switched.
Navigating the mortgage process is tricky these days. But Matt is extremely knowledgable and has a great way about him that made me feel comfortable throughout the process.
I’d definitely recommend him to anyone.

Matt and Shannon in the Leader Bank Mortgage center exceeded all my expectations when it came to buying my first home. I shopped with 4 different lenders for an FHA loan. Leader Bank offered the lowest rate with the highest closing cost credit enabling me to buy a 3 family in Chelsea with the only out of pocket expenses being my down payment, and inspection fees.
Matt was always responsive to my many, many questions/​phone calls and was quick to react to issues caused by a 3rd party.
Shannon is extremely thorough in her documentation, as literally not one unforeseen issue related to my finances/​documentation came up, never asked for a single document I had completed a second time.
I provided Matt with all my financial information up front, he told me what he thought I could get approved for and it closed. Simple as that..

I’ve used Matt for our initial home purchase and mortgage a few years ago. As rates have continued to drop, we’ve refinanced with him two times. He and his team are very easy to work with, knowledgeable, and responsive.
