We ate at this food truck for the food truck festival and was highly disappointed. We waited 35 min in line then was told it’d be another 25 minutes for food. Fine. We will walk our fussy baby around for abit. We ended up waiting 55 minutes for our food to be served. I was hoping for it to be the best falafel of my life but it was terrible. Served in a pita that fell apart and was covered in red onions. Hard to eat at a festival. Then the falafel wasn’t crispy and didn’t taste good. I’m not sure if this happened because it was so busy and aren’t equipped for that amount of customers. I was totally bummed and ended up leaving the event. ALSO, they ended up running out of fries and falafel but didn’t take it off their menu. I would’ve been mad if I waited in line for 40 min to find out the one thing I could eat was out!

I definitely don’t think this place deserves two stars because of service. I don’t think that’s fair if you like the food. I had a meat byrek from here. It was pretty good. They definitely understand that they needed to be faster, but I think maybe they’re doing things too fast now. The byrek was premade and I received it in about 10 seconds. I think this isn’t the way to go. It was lukewarm and very, very greasy. I think it not being piping hot made me more aware of the grease. If they’d spent 5 minutes heating it up, I probably wouldn’t be mad. The edges were pretty crunchy and crispy and chewy(because it was premade). The phyllo dough was also very chewy and lacked that characteristic crunch. The meat filling was probably ground beef, but I’m not sure. I did enjoy the whole thing overall though. They look like a mom and pop shop and they do what they do well. Just maybe a little too fast.

The food is great. I’ve had the chicken kabob wrap a few times now, and it’s consistently delicious and the prices are great. The issue is that its taken me 35 min+ to get my order every time I’ve been(probably 5 times at this point) — which makes it close to impossible in my 30min lunch break. Hopefully they can get food out faster so I can go back!

Food has improved. Now they have falafel, as some of us do not eat meat – thank you for that. However, every time I come out to the food truck, you are not ready(open). You always open late. Please try to show up earlier, when you are scheduled to be open.
