Business Owner

Dr. Michael Melander grew up in Acton, MA graduating from Acton-​Boxborough Regional High School. He then attended the University of Vermont graduating with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Medical Laboratory Science. Soon after, he attended chiropractic school at the Palmer College of Chiropractic, Florida Campus in Port Orange, FL, graduating with honors.

Dr. Melander developed an interest in the chiropractic profession at a fairly young age having experienced and witnessed the benefits of care first-​hand. An interest in treating an athletic population prompted him to pursue post-​graduate education in sports medicine, eventually earning the status of Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician in 2011. Additional interest in the care of soft tissue injuries influenced his decisions to become certified in Active Release Techniques® and Graston Technique®.
