MLR Management is a full service and on location hair and makeup agency. MLR is made up of professionally trained hair and makeup artists with experience in corporate photo shoots, fashion shows, editorials, promotional events, TV/​film, and bridal to name a few. MLR artist produce red carpet looks and are always a head of new trends, techniques, and styles. MLR Artist are star makers who have worked with the most respected and influential celebrities, retailers, models, and designers in Boston, New York City, and Los Angeles.

History

Established in 2011.

MLR Artist Management is committed to social responsibility having supported The One Fund, Boston Bruins Foundation, and the American Red Cross. The MLR team is made up of 15 professional hair and makeup artist which serve in Boston, New York City, and Los Angeles markets. In 2011 MLR Artist Management secured business partnerships with Model Club Inc., The Ki Bar Society, and Kathy Benharris Productions. MLR has also established The Glam School, a makeup artistry workshop offered seasonally to aspiring artist. The program offers bridal, editorial, airbrush, hairstyling, and special FX application.

Meet the Business Owner

Lou R.

Business Owner

Lou began his career in management as an intern at NEXT Model Management in Miami, FL. During his time at NEXT, he earned a degree at Johnson & Wales University in Marketing Communications with a concentration in Fashion. Lou opened the doors to MLR Artist Management in October of 2011 to guide the careers of the top hair and makeup artists. Under his leadership, artist have successfully worked with Self Magazine, GE, Sales Force, HBO, Cover Girl, JetBlue Airways, Walhburgers, and many more.
