Consistently decent: 1. the salad bar 2. the pre-packaged junk food options(cookies, nutter butters, Cheetos, sodas) 3. the fried food that is terrible for you(chicken tenders, onion rings, fries, grilled cheese) 4. the sassy check-out lady who can process 10 customers in 5 minutes and who possesses an uncanny ability to look through you rather than at you Consistently terrible: 1. the price of stuff from the salad bar($ 8 for a bowl of salad… say wha? And that INCLUDES my BMC employee discount…) 2. anything from the deli counter 3. anything from the daily meal specials(expect watery vegetables, mushy overcooked pasta…) 4. «special» meal selections(most recently, Cinco De Mayo taco bowl = barf) 5. the«pizza»(should probably be renamed«mystery stuff on a flat piece of bread») Bottom line: Come here only if you want to make your own salad, or to get your greasy fried food afternoon fix. PS. It is amusing to see just how many doctors here load up on those spicy french fries and wings.

For cafeterias in Medical facilities, this one really does the trick. I’ll eat here at least twice a week for lunch and always feel satisfied after the fact. If you work in the building there is a 20% discount which will often mean you walk out with a sandwich for about three bucks. The pizzas are cheap too and one piece is definitely a solid lunch. They offer entrees as well but I usually stick to the sandwiches. It’s basic but it is a hospital cafeteria. What are you truly looking for if you are here?
