Specialties
Om Warrior specializes in offering a physically challenging practice to all body types and skill sets.
It is our goal to teach personal practice and self-realization through group classes or individually designed private sessions.
Marc McDonald combines his experience as a private trainer and yoga teacher to help each student find their own meaning for this work. Private sessions are designed to suit the individual needs as well as personal interests.
History
Established in 2009.
«Om Warrior is my idea of what total wellness should be. It must suit the individual and take into account past experience as well as the present state. We must approach the mind and the body together in order to understand the whole self. This work should be engaging, evolving and fun in order to be a lifelong, transformative practice»

Meet the Business Owner
Marc M.
Business Owner
Marc began teaching yoga in 1998 after having been inspired by the transformative effects of the practice in his life. He soon focused his attention on Astanga yoga under the direction of David Swenson and Kathy McNames. He would later complete (220⁄500 hour) teacher certifications through FRA and Yoga Vermont. In 2005, Marc was introduced to Budokon, a Yogic and Martial art created by Cameron Shayne. Budokon enhanced and expanded upon ideas he was introduced to years earlier.
His classes integrate a love of music and an expression of movement that is both challenging and playful. His approach is based on the firm belief that each body must find its own unique path within the practice. Marc does not believe in ‘one size fits all’. He encourages exploration and creativity in adjusting one’s yoga practice to suit the body they were given.
