Orthodontics At Ashmont Station

I would give it no stars if I could. So I’ve been going here for almost a year now and honestly I still have my overbite. Yes I did miss a few appointments due to the fact that I was going through a financial crisis but I still think the over bite should have been good. First thing is first about this place, it is always packed and even though you schedule an appointment they take forever to see you. The doctor on the website is not the doctor that is there. It is another doctor who is Asian. That right there is false advertisement! Second I feel like I am being worked on by students who are just learning on me! I know they need to practice but there is barely a one on one with the actual dentist. When I first got my braces the girl forgot to cut a wire because she was chatting with the other girl in front of me and my mouth was cut for two days until I can get them to see me. Secondly there was an appointment where I needed to get my braces tightened and the girl hurt me so bad I began crying!!! I begged her to stop and she wouldn’t she kept forcing the wire until she got someone else. I had to complain to the manager and honestly nothing was really done. They should have refunded my money for that day but now they didn’t. They really just want your money. Then I moved to Rhode Island and I missed more appointments due to how far I was. When I called to ask can they release my records they said that it was their policy for me to at least pay 500 before they could release it. Such fucking bullshit! I told them that between my job and my daughter it was very difficult for me to come. But now I’m going to just go to my next appointment to pay what’s left of the 500 and switch! I am very unhappy and just yesterday I had an appointment for cleaning and they had to put my wires back on… what hell!!! She couldn’t she kept trying and trying and hurting me while doing it. I am now sitting in the office waiting for my name to be called since I’m still waiting even though I had an appointment to get my braces tightened. I am in pain from yesterday. This place is like a zoo and unprofessional. Please don’t let the cheaper price fool you go somewhere else!!! Not with the pain and your money spent here!!! I wish I didn’t come here at all!

I like the office a lot! The entire staff is very helpful. Never had a problem.

Inconvenience, only open two days a week for adjustment. Oftenly 15−40mins behind on appointments but charges clients late fee when arrive late to appointment??? (Consultation should include the inconvenience hour).

I am hoping that the previous reviews are all wrong, but I just called to have my daughters braces removed and they are closed for 2 weeks!!! I have never seen an entire practice close down for vacation??? It’s not like it’s a 1 man show, it is a good size business. smh

DONT COME HERE. I never thought I would write this review for an orthodontist place and wish that I read these two reviews before we began here.
Michael C and Jessie L are absolutely RIGHT about this HORRENDOUS place they call an orthodontist office for children. My brother was scheduled to have his braces done within a year. It has been TWO years now, and his teeth are still in gaps because they pulled his teeth apart, and then rescheduled/​canceled his appointments, his wire came off a poked him in his mouth for 3 months and no one care to fixed it for him, even when we specifically asked them to take a look at it. The excuses were always that: «the dentist is not in at the moment», «we don’t have the replacement wire», and other bulls*%t.
Now his MassHealth time is over, and out of no where they canceled my brother’s appointment on the day off the appointment, and said they don’t want to see him unless his has a health care provider or paying out of pocket.
To say they are unprofessional is not enough. They intended to stretch out the dishonestly to make money of people and they know absolutely what they put their patients through. This is could be considered illegal, malpractice, and unethical.

How come I have never seen the wonderful doctor shown on the website in many years of coming here? It’s always some other foreign grad general dentist and some clueless assistants working on me and everyone else!:(I’ve been rescheduled a couple times through no fault of my own, simply because they overbooked patients or ran behind. Now the front desk manager want to charge me an extra few months because treatment ran later than expected; because they keep rescheduling me.
